I say bring it on; Dems get their witness and documents; Trump gets whatever witnesses and documents he wants. This seems fair, no?
This is exactly what the Dems DON'T want.
they can buy some Ukrainians to say whatever, but I'm not sure that they can buy off all of the Trump people to testify under oath to what is basically a lie.
Are you trying to say that Hunter didn't get a job with Burisma?
it would be simpler for Democrats "to dissolve the people and elect another."

IMHO, Trump has already won this because really, no one cares, esp when the economy is still doing well and ppl, in general, can find some level of employment w/o the spectre of some 'overly predicted' coming recession.

This is really all that matters. And it's the reason for their hail mary you mention, as they know without a recession they're fucked.
If the economy was shit, Trump would be out of office already and everyone would be bitching and whining about Pence. Instead we'll continue the temper tantrum on a "story" about a call from a bunch of lifetime government employees, none of which have been taken off the government payroll to date or have any first hand knowledge.
I didn't realize my fellow Americans were such whiny pussies or at least how many of them are. Grow up, you lost and the attitude is preventing you from winning for the foreseeable future.

I disagree.
Who thinks the democrats will get the witnesses and documents they want ?
Allowing republicans to make their case about Joe Bidens son in a trial of Trump would be priceless to watch. Obviously they can buy some Ukrainians to say whatever, but I'm not sure that they can buy off all of the Trump people to testify under oath to what is basically a lie. But you can be sure the lawyers are working overtime trying to figure out how they might pull it off.
Onvacation saysAre you trying to say that Hunter didn't get a job with Burisma?
Who cares?
she is running her shop painfully by the rules.
If nobody cares about the Biden's corruption why do people want to impeach Trump for trying to investigate?

You dont seriously believe Trump cares about Hunter Biden's corruption? For fucksake they told the Ukranians they didnt need to actually investigate they just needed to announce the investigation. Why you think that was?
I dont expect a cogent answer.
Onvacation sayswhy is Trump being impeached?
You know why and I have written it before and for you I believe. If it was any Dem doing what he did you would be having a shit hemorrhage and screaming to string him/her up. Some people just loves them some Trump, cause he fucks with the libbes or maybe they are just kind to retarded people. You hear his rant about wind power. The Dude is seriously unwell.
1. He used his office and power for try to extort a foreign government to apparently only announce "investigations" of his perceived chief political rival and an insane conspiracy theory about the 2016 election planted in his addled brain by Putin. His extortion involved among other things ordering the holding of 390 mil in approved and vitally needed aid to a country at war with his best buddy Vald. All so he could have a sound bite about Joe Biden being under investigation and "clear" Russia of 2016 interference (idiot). Sounds like what any decent law abiding Pres would do... but for some reason they call it abuse of power
2. Refusing to provide even one document and commanding those currently in or who previously served in his administration not to cooperate/testify with/to a congressional impeachment inquiry into the above. Taking the absurd position that the constitution gives him carte blanc to do what he wants without law enforcement or congressional oversight or interference. Obstruction of Congress.
IMO 2. is worse than 1. Because it will set the future course for future President whoever to do what they will. And you know it might just be a Dem. If Trump gets away with 2 like he is almost certainly going to, you think the next nut job in the office isn't going to do the same?
The Dude is seriously unwell.

When will Hunter get to testify?
So, you actually believe the Russians colluded with Trump? Really?
you seem to believe the Ukranian government worked to elect Hillary and the DNC server is stashed in the Ukraine...somewhere and so forth. Putins theory. Do you?

Now that the House of Representatives has voted to impeach President Donald Trump, what is the constitutional status of the two articles of impeachment? Must they be transmitted to the Senate to trigger a trial, or could they be held back by the House until the Senate decides what the trial will look like, as Speaker Nancy Pelosi has hinted?
The Constitution doesn’t say how fast the articles must go to the Senate. Some modest delay is not inconsistent with the Constitution, or how both chambers usually work.
But an indefinite delay would pose a serious problem. Impeachment as contemplated by the Constitution does not consist merely of the vote by the House, but of the process of sending the articles to the Senate for trial. Both parts are necessary to make an impeachment under the Constitution: The House must actually send the articles and send managers to the Senate to prosecute the impeachment. And the Senate must actually hold a trial."
