We should be careful to distinguish between PRODUCTIVE WORK like caring for an apple tree, and NON-PRODUCTIVE RENT-SEEKING, like doing nothing for anyone and yet forcing the public to pay them via legally enforced scams of one kind or another. Like, for example, forcing everyone in America to pay private insurance companies unlimited amounts for health insurance, by law.
They have to sell ads and they report on what their customers want. So yes, media is in fact dishonest.
I agree that the media is clearly dishonest, but I think it's not because that's what their customers want.
In fact, I think their customers want honesty but can't get it because media ownership is concentrated into the hands of very rich people whose scams are being disrupted by Trump's election. They don't really care about making money directly from the media. They care about keeping political power so that they can skim money off of all of us by making laws that allow them to do that.
Thus the 100% negative coverage of Trump in the mainstream media. Not even Hitler had press that bad, and Trump is no Hitler.
He's FAR rather see nagative articles about himself than no mention of him at all.
I agree with you on this @marcus
In fact, getting all that negative press in 2016 was what got him elected in the first place! It was billions in free publicity, and Trump milked it like a pro.
And why shouldn't he? It's the press which has horribly miscalculated, not Trump.
: I'm sure that a lot of Germans that liked the direction Hitler was taking at first, and for a while even, never imagined that their malevolent fantasies would actually be acted out in such an extreme way. :
Hitler wrote books and speeches about displacing the Jews. He succeeded partially because Germany was desolate and ravaged from WWI. There's absolutely no link to Trump and the US today.
Trump would resign Mueller would find collusion The stock market would crash Jussie Smollett was honest Trump’s base would leave him A recession would happen War would break out Avenatti was a serious candidate
As for the rest of the "people of Earth," you can be sure that his popularity is much lower in much of the rest of the world, compared to other PResiedents.
Duh, foreigners want a weak President that gives them money, helps enact THEIR policies, and doesn't stand in their way.
Germany, for example, doesn't want to stop trading tech and machines to Iran, and doesn't want to be reminded that while they spend luxuriously on migrants, they are shorting their NATO commitments.

I have a feeling that many of these memes are planted exactly in order to obscure the difference.

So, Trump wanting to investigate probable corruption by the son of a sitting vice president in Ukraine is "abuse of power" be CAUSE why?
Trump would resign
Mueller would find collusion
The stock market would crash
Jussie Smollett was honest
Trump’s base would leave him
A recession would happen
War would break out
Avenatti was a serious candidate
None of that shit happened.
