Her husband should be executed. That MF!
2   BayArea   2020 Feb 15, 6:35pm

Were there any definitive conclusion that came out regarding what happened?

No idea. I’d love to hear if anyone knows more. Patrick maybe?
4   RC2006   2020 Feb 15, 9:25pm

Somebody here must be following case I figured. Is her husband in jail or awaiting trial?
5   WookieMan   2020 Feb 16, 5:33am

Just looked into it, but haven't been following. Without media reporting on it, this mostly looks like procedural legal shit so far. Looks like it's starting to get to the meaty courtroom part soon though.

If anyone wants to look further into it or has connections, here's the Orange County case # 19HF0572 and some screen shots of the current activity. 3/3/2020 looks like the next court date.
6   Tenpoundbass   2020 Feb 16, 7:48am

Did anyone else have a detective contact them to grill them on where they were, what's their relationship with the decease and what did they mean by comments in the original thread?
7   Ceffer   2020 Feb 16, 9:54am

Gotta give the lawyers a couple of years of delayed justice to soak the perp and system for every last dollar first. Fleecing procedure isn't done yet.

Would you post a link to the case details above ? Or does it require some sort of acct and access to a state system ?

I found the case, but not details. Given time, perhaps I would find it, but do you have a link ?

Not much more detail than this though.

Yes, sorry. Usually these public court case sites don't do well with sharing links due to the specific nature of the search, so I didn't even try to share (I think your link is dead FYI). I searched his first and last name and for some reason it didn't show the info as detailed. I found the case # via an article and that's how I was able to see more. So that's why I shared that.

I regret that I missed that meetup she and the alleged perpetrator and others of you attended at the Jewish deli.

We got stuck in horrible traffic on the 880, then freaking BART delays because they were single tracking between Lake Merritt and West Oakland.

By the time we got to SF the event was ended.

Sent this thread, with some other links, to Dateline NBC.

Yeah I missed the one in LA. She was an interesting woman. I wonder if her sometimes hanging out on Patrick.net was in any way connected to the fact that she might have been in a crazy relationship (more crazy than the usual that is). Making online friends that would notice and ask questions if she disappeared. Just a thought.

What did he post that was personal? I may have missed it but I responded to comment 12 which was after this one? I didn't see anything that warranted a flag, but I could be wrong.
15   MisdemeanorRebel   2020 Feb 16, 11:23am

It was flagged personal, something about TPB. I always try NOT to flag something personal, unless it's pretty damned obvious and I can't find a reason to let it go.

Update: That might have been from another thread.
16   Shaman   2020 Feb 16, 11:32am

I emailed back and forth with her for a while, exchanging ideas on home renovations. She was a real energetic and engaged person, smart and personable. If her husband did it, he’s guilty of taking one of the good ones out of this sorry world.
17   FortwayeAsFuckJoeBiden   2020 Feb 16, 11:36am

Post history and times could be useful.

It was a half joking comment in reponse to this.

Something to the effect that at times TPBs comments on the forum might reflect the mindset of someone that should be looked in to as a suspect. That he shouldn't be surprised.

I said it in a more colorful way though. I doubt TPB minded. He must know the image he sometimes projects.

Tpb is in FLorida (supposedly), so it does seem strange, and he might have even been kidding about being contacted by a detective.

Yes it did seem strange, and you're right I do live in South Florida, and everyone knew I lived in South Florida and didn't go to the meet up.

I've never been to San Fran Shithole in my life.

I suspect some butt hurt, Patneter sent them to me, especially seeing how seething Liberals always resort to weaponizing law enforcement to intimidate people they can't best in Political debate.
20   Patrick   2020 Feb 16, 2:40pm

I did get a call from a detective maybe a year and a half ago, and told him everything I knew.

I feel pretty sure that her husband did it, but we have a justice system exactly for this kind of thing.

Yeah. That sounds exactly like liberals. Btw, there is nobody easier to beat in political debate than you. Hell, you make up such bizarre stuff, "winning" for you is just getting a little attention for those whacko supposed opinions.

What Email conversation?
24   Patrick   2020 Feb 16, 5:19pm

The detective didn't ask me for any email addresses of patrick.net users.

Then how would he have contacted TPB and "grilled" him.
27   Tenpoundbass   2020 Feb 16, 5:48pm

We can pick up this conversation after the case is settled.

marcus says

Patrick emailed me and gave me the detective's number. And I called the Detective.

I wasn't grilled, he just asked some basic questions in the pursuit of diligence.
28   Patrick   2020 Feb 16, 5:50pm

Ah, yes, that sounds familiar.

Actually I flagged it, normally I let cheap shots roll off. But in the given context of this thread, it was libelous and slanderous.
31   komputodo   2020 Feb 16, 6:10pm

wasn't she supposed to flop her goods?
32   Patrick   2020 Feb 16, 7:01pm

She did.

Then she deleted the image after a week or something.

Depending on backup timing, I may possibly have the image somewhere.
33   Ceffer   2020 Feb 16, 7:24pm

You reminded me. I forgot I have it in my records, but I am secure deleting it. Too spooky. Poor Turtledove.

If I were everyone I would wait until the court case is over and done. This is still on going. Trump isn't even immune from talking about on going legal matters.
Do so at your own peril. That being said, I will be happy to say everything the detective asked me about, when the court case is over.

Put it this way, the killer or his lawyers were cunning enough to send the Detectives to Patnet to search for suspects. Purely because we were discussing it.

I don't think so, not directly anyway. From what I could gather, he had a previous wife who took a lot of money in the divorce. Maybe he was afraid of going through the same thing again. But this is pure speculation.

This is perhaps true, however, a DA's office doesn't prosecute based upon a speculative theory because otherwise, it would be swamped with more cases than hours in the year.

It's highly feasible that she had a large life insurance on her and thus, given a suspicious accident, they would have enough of a probable motive to prosecute and gain a conviction, given the fact that jurors can be swayed by spousal abuse stories with the payout-in-the-end, as the coup de grace.
