What's happening is she is getting tired of working and thinking about divorce #2, when she realized he has everything locked up and is in Mass, which is a single property state.
By law, Massachusetts is not a “community property” state, but in practice, even after litigation, most property settlements end up very similar to what they would be in community property states. In community property states, premarital property is defined to be “separate property” belonging to one person, and all property accumulated during the marriage (with the possible exception of inheritances) is defined as “community property,” belonging equally to both spouses. In community property states, couples are obliged to follow an exact 50-50 split of community property.
When the divorce was settled, she was insanely angry that she was obligated to pay HIM alimony by California law. Hilarious!
It's so funny how it's only unjust when the women pay.
finding out she has to pay her unemployed ex-spouse who suddenly developed Fibromyalgia before filing
Please explain!
Another thing I noticed - and maybe you all can tell me if this is an Eastern Europe thing - women do all the work and run the house to boot, the men are just around for dick service, yet since all men are kinda macho and they have few soyboys, the women have little choice but to accept it. Our problem is weak, thirsty men.
Gets Girls aghast yet competitive. "How dare that NoCoupForYou not want to screw me like all the other dudes. I'll show that asshole who is the Great Screw!"

It's not financial abuse. That is withholding support to compel behavior; this chick has a full time job. And certainly, being a bit of a cheapass isn't domestic violence.
Now while he's being a bit ridiculous by not contributing much (she's probably grossly exaggerating), but she seems more upset that he isn't going to inherit all his shit, even though they both have kids from other relationships, the house is his from before they were married, have no kids with each other, and apparently married when she was about 45. She's 60 now.
Keep in mind she's living in his house rent free, which is probably worth at least $1200/month in equivalent rent or mortgage, and likely a lot more.

The reason is rich chicks in the 19th Century demanded single property so they could keep their inheritance in divorce. "Sadly", female connivers in the 21st Century looking to divorce rape a guy with more assets and thinking "Community Property" applies there are getting screwed by it.
