We only need to lockdown those over 65 or at least over 80.
Kinda stupid in rural North Dakota don’t you think?
No.

Quote a talking point and that means exponential growth does not exist anywhere in the universe? That's just dumb. I'll listen to the math and science before any talking point.

We cannot hide forever. You're a retard, dumbass piece of shit if any of you think that's the solution.
159 cases in the entire state?
We cannot hide forever.
Some of the Asian countries have developed protocols to deal with MERS and SARS. South Korea seems like the best example of dealing with the COVID Forever War while still allowing for businesses to continue operating. They do aggressive contact tracing which, frankly, might now be impossible.

States are continuing to keep attractions open like the mayor in Jaws, but a national lockdown of all non-essential congregation would be the best way to curtail the epidemic. Close down all parks, beaches, bars, restaurants, churches, schools, and non-essential businesses. Yes, there will be an economic hit, but that will still happen if the epidemic lasts months and reinfections, resurgences, and mutations of the virus happen. So it's really a matter of reducing the death toll by keeping any non-essential, non-web-base business short down.
