Hunter Biden's whacky deals with Russian Oligarchs, Chinese Communist Officials, and Ukrainian Corrupt Officials = "Going after Biden's Family" nevermind it involves the actions of a 30-40 year old Hunter Biden while his father was in charge of these foreign portfolios under Obama.

Yeah one thing I know though is Pence will smoke Cummala. Pence is an excellent debater. Also it's difficult to go into the psychology of it. What truly matters ate the swing states and Trump did a decent job mentioning them as much as possible and that they should see returned manufacturing, business and stay open.
74   FortWayneAsNancyPelosiHaircut   2020 Sep 29, 8:12pm

It was a lot of arguing, but yeah both done some dumb things. Biden was better at emotional appeals (although a lot of bullshit), Trump rambled too much on stuff that probably does not matter to an average voters (especially that 100 judges thing).
75   Ceffer   2020 Sep 29, 8:12pm

I really didn't think Trump was that much of a brawler. He just wouldn't let crap slide at all, since he was debating an opponent and his co-dependant (moderator). If you have ever dealt with co-dependants, you know what a nightmare it can be, so Trump just had to address the foolishness as it arose.

I loved Biden's calling Antifa a 'social construct'. It shows that he can still gaslight instead of just sociopathically lie.
76   FortWayneAsNancyPelosiHaircut   2020 Sep 29, 8:15pm

I don't think this debate changed anyones mind in any direction. Biden had a really stupid answer about having a psychologist go with every police call... LOL thats just fairy land stupid.

I think the important thing is that Trump stood up against 'racial sensitivity' training.

My bet is that the large majority of people are sick of shit like that. They just want to be Americans.

Agree. But he didn't explain "why" very well. Sensitivity training is about creating an "allowed" racism against groups that are considered majority.
78   just_passing_through   2020 Sep 29, 8:17pm

I thought Trump wasn't at his best and that fuck face biden did better than expected.

I emailed Fox News at: https://help.foxnews.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000064413

To let them know how shitty Chris is and in fact he's why I canceled cable and don't watch their leftist shit anymore.

80   just_passing_through   2020 Sep 29, 8:20pm

I have a training coming up in 10 days that from the email sounds like a CRT. I interviewed at a company in SSF yesterday and they basically came out and said they are working up an offer at the end of it. (last of several interviews).

If this motherfucking training is a CRT training I'm going to have a shit load of fun!

I get to stay in SD but I'll likely be up in NorCal quite a bit. Might even overlap with a patnet meetup who the hell knows.
81   just_passing_through   2020 Sep 29, 8:28pm

If Fox had any brains left Greg Gutfeld should have moderated.

We would have seen Trump laughing and that leftist windbag staring. Because the left has no humor.
82   FortwayeAsFuckJoeBiden   2020 Sep 29, 8:46pm

Trump could have done better. Could have told people to vote to prevent radical left from taking over, instead of rambling.

It wasn’t a real answer, just troll answer. I guarantee you some kids on the left bought it.
86   Tenpoundbass   2020 Sep 29, 9:22pm

I watched the Debates at a friend's house, had an older Democrat Lady there, that still believes the CNN narrative.

I think Trump's strategy was to interrupt Biden's well rehearsed answers to Wallace's well orchestrated questions. Was to lessen the impact they were meant to convey, to trip him up, and to wear him down, so he started talking erratic

It was good for the beginning, as that was probably Joe's handler's best work that Trump shit all over. But it was not going to be a way to have a full 90 minutes of debates.
I think when he started answering questions, he spent too much time on his bombastic stump rhetoric and the "If you look at the numbers" shtick, when he finally started talking great substance Mike Wallace would cut him short with a curt and trite interruption.

Then the next mode we saw Trump was to stop stumping, and interrupting, and use his time to read Biden and the Democrats the RIot Act, saying things that has only been reported on TGP, Breitbart(to some degree) and The Patriot Treehouse, and saying things that most of America hasn't heard. The Liberal lady friend was cringing and calling Trump a bully and liar. I asked her if She knew who Sidney Powell is, She said no. I just said you will. Trump was landing in some good punches.

Then Trump went back to interrupting Joe, with more truth bombs, a combination of the two flavors he was offering up before.

I think Trump made a grave mistake by not acknowledging Beau when Joe was talking about him, then responded, that hit on him saying Dead Vets were suckers, was a lie, a total Lie. Then he could have attacked Hunter, but at least say his name so there's a distinction.

I think that was Trump's biggest blunder. The Lady friend has no idea how Hunter is, and thought it was pure hyperbole when my friend and I was telling her about some of his unsavory escapades. The Lady friend, only knows about Beau and nothing about Hunter.

CNN watcher. Though she says She watches Fox more now, but disputes that Fox is not a Left leaning channel. Even though I got her to admit if Fox was the Fox of the Bush administration, She wouldn't watch it.

Watching the tape,

Did anyone else catch Joe saying his other son Beau won the brown star?
91   GNL   2020 Sep 29, 10:09pm

I think Trump did poorly on CRT and the Covid. There needs to be a more open and honest conversation about these. Trump should have just said it's anti white and anti American which is racist and ugly. And there is no place in America for it. As far as the race issue goes, Joe said he would work to end racism. Someone needs to come out and tell the truth about racism. It exists, it has always existed and it will always exist and it is not a crime to dislike other people based on anything.

The Covid, Trump needs to come out and say..."look, viruses exist and always will. The government should simply tell all Americans the facts and let them decide for themselves what their best personal decisions about dealing with it should be.

He should have been clear and say BLM and Antifa are racist, leftist organizations attempting to overthrow America.
92   GNL   2020 Sep 29, 10:12pm

I think Trumps goal was to trip Joe up instead of pushing his own explanations on current events...mainly Covid and the riots. If there is another debate, Trump needs to do a better job imo.
93   Dholliday126   2020 Sep 29, 10:15pm

I give it a draw, it was what I expected. Biden needs to do better to catch up though.
94   Ceffer   2020 Sep 29, 10:24pm

I thought Biden looked awful. He looked like an animated wax dummy with make up. The wax thing is not good in old people.

With a Blue Pill issue like Covid, politicians are forced to address the Blue Pill, whether it is scientific reality or not. A successful Blue Pill seeds hysteria and religious reaction, and is thus a point of volatility that both sides seek to exploit for emotion. In that sense, it become a debating null: nobody 'wins', nobody 'loses'.

Dems and their Deep (Shallow) State cohorts really shot themselves in the foot with Covid. Trump was pretty smart, and it wound up being the Dem mayors and governers who ruined the economy and people's fortunes for political ends, and Dems wound up stepping in their own flaming dog poo.

Biden attempted several 180 degree flipping the narrative, but Trump rather adroitly turned them back around.

97   Ceffer   2020 Sep 30, 12:45am

I thought that Biden with all of his juicing and aids actually did OK for what he was. They must have had him on super meds to keep him going, but he maintained reasonable clarity without completely losing it. If Trump had pushed him a little harder, he probably could have broken him, and Biden was insulting Trump right and left.

He pretty much came across as the useless sociopathic salesman for the Dems: promise everything, then back to the usual business of corruption and selling the country out and delivering on no promises. Wait until the next election cycle, rinse, repeat for the useful idiots of the voting base afraid of losing their crumbs from the Dem table.

Nobody won. No real issues were even brought up. I listened to the 90 minutes, but no issue I cared about was brought up.

I was impressed with Biden's performance though, he's a senile old man - I wonder what drugs he was on?
99   stfu   2020 Sep 30, 2:07am

Even though I was assured by Chris Wallace that no one got the questions in advance I was amazed at Joes ability to start answering the questions directed at him almost before Chris had a chance to finish asking the question.

The fact that Trump didn't wipe the floor with Joe means, in my book, that Joe won this debate. However I don't think anyone is changing their minds based on debates.

Trump has never been a good debater though. He has always come across as too thin skinned to me. Reagan was better at timing and getting his hits in during clear air.

Trump is an excellent orator - his 'stream of consciousness' rally's are entertaining and he knows how to own the room.

I agree with Patrick here. Was the content a home run for Trump, no. Did Biden take a piss on Bernie supporters, yes. Trump has his speaking style, but gets the words out. Biden looked like he was lost in thought multiple times and kind of spit out what could kind of be considered a coherent thought or statement. Biden kept talking about him being VP during a presidency that got Trump elected the first time. That's not a winning formula.

That said I don't think this moves the needle one way or another. I don't know the moderator but thought he did a poor job. If you're going to time a 2 min segment, turn off the other persons mic. Not a complicated thing to do. I doubt any of the other moderators will do a good job, so maybe my expectations were too high.

I know there's mail in voting, but I'm kind of wondering if Trump didn't go in for the kill shot the multiple times he was set up for it. Trump missed an opportunity last night in my opinion to end this, but on the surface still won the debate. It was a weird one. Wondering if there's an actual bombshell Trump has that he's waiting to unload.

Maybe this did accomplish something then! Hispanic voters are the ones with most undecided people or any particular group. If they liked the combative style of Trump then that might help the campaign.

It was disturbing to hear Chris Wallace lump white supremacists in with Kenosha at the end. I thought he was more intelligent than that.

The candidates make their appearance contingent on certain rules, and one of the rules was probably that the moderator can't shut off the microphone.

I'm sure he knows that Kyle is in no way a white supremacist, but he's paid by the haters that own the media. Truth is not one of their concerns.

Yeah, but then why agree to 2 minutes of talking time if you're just going to interrupt each other? Both did a bad job on that front. It was rather annoying to watch and listen. You've now got non-political people getting all pissy about decorum and debating and our country as a whole is in the shitter. It will be equal, but how it went down will lower both of their approval equally.

Remember, Trump's the incumbent and thus, already has an advantage over Biden.

So sure, both candidates lost in terms of the debate 'decorum & style' section, however, that's not what matters.

What Trump did was post Biden as some BS artist who didn't know what he was talking about esp about supporting the economy while keeping everything closed until some cure/vaccine was found and so forth.

And then Biden has those blank stares into the camera, addressing the American ppl directly, as if "the people" were in charge of day-to-day operations and not him (or someone else) elected to do the job. Biden comes across as a hokey wannabe Bill Clinton who can play that visage of making himself look like the man of the people by talking to them directly.

In contrast, Trump stuck to his guns and shot at Biden & Wallace continually to shut them down. Trump didn't have to 'win the debate' to win.
111   Tenpoundbass   2020 Sep 30, 11:32am

So what's missing today in the news about last night's debate performance?

That's right! The MSM is NOT fact checking, any outrageous claim made by Donald Trump last night about Antifa, Bidens, Obama or Hillary.
Instead they are reinforcing the lies and whoppers Biden told.
