@ThatGuy I made a better list of things you can do, here:

And this is an excellent resource for knowing which companies to avoid, and which to patronize:

I will avoid any black owned businesses.
18   Patrick   2021 Feb 6, 8:24pm

I think that's counterproductive.

What we should do, imho, is give every business an equal chance as long as they don't go shoving identity politics in our faces.

So if a business happens to be black owned and provides better value than others, great, I'll shop there.

But if a business advertises "black owned", then no fucking way will I shop there. Same with "woman owned" advertisements or any other such bullshit.

We should give each other a chance. No one should get special treatment based on identity.

It's forced upon them. I don't know with certainty because I'm a white guy owning a business, but "minority" owned businesses I think are required by some of their grants and benefits to advertise it that way. I believe this to be true and generally makes sense given most these handouts are from the left just because of pigmentation and your genitals.

Just sucks there's no white male government benefit. But hey, who is really the one being discriminated against?

I am very pessimistic about there being any effective resistance at this point. The “election” and the “epidemic” destroyed my illusions.
This video with former KGB agent Yuri Bezmenovmay may be common knowledge, and there have been many efforts to debunk it, but I found it revelatory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1EA2ohrt5Q
The interviewer, G. Edward Griffin is kind of a proto Alex Jones but I think Comrade Yuri lays it out perfectly in 1984(!).
The takeover of the Academy proceeds without pause, from todays NYT Magazine:
“Saving Classics From Whiteness” https://archive.fo/bEo7r

Their March Through the Institutions seems to be meeting little effective push-back.
I am leaving Cali in the spring for a racially homogenous and agriculturally diverse area in a Red State.

If you refuse to patronize a black owned business - because they are black owned; you are by definition a racist. Political leanings and personal lives or what people said about such and such should not matter. If they have the best product or service that's all that matters.

I say this as a white male who has experienced blatant racial discrimination. And I refuse to drop to these peoples level.

It seemed to start in college ... where I was told I did not quality for free tutoring because I was white. I was shown a sub section code in the tutoring center and told to call the admin office for a description which would explain sub section code why I was being denied. The black girl working the desk seemed embarrassed or shamed to tell me what the code said - and passed me off to the admin office. When I called the admin office I was told they could not tell me over the phone - I had to come in person. When I came - I was told I did not quality because I was white and male.

I was disqualified for a grant because I was white - and had a limit placed on my student loan. The reasons given were that I did not qualify because my parents made too much money.

Then I was intentionally removed from my dorm and placed in an all black dorm. When I demanded to know the reason they said it was part of a program I was selected for because my major was international business and the dorm I was in was not "reflective" and "adaptive" to real world learning. I was now the only white guy in an large all black dorm apartment. Almost immediately there were problems. One of the black guys was a hardcore racist with all kinds of crazy pseudo science books. The other was a criminal who earned an AA degree in prison and received free grants, free tutoring, free cafeteria, and a housing subsidys - all taxpayer and privately funded. The other was a thief who stole food and drank from the jug and it back it in the fridge constantly. The other had friends who would come back from basketball en mass and wipe their sweat and oil stink all over my friends new furniture. I was keeping so she didn't have to pay storage (and because she was hot). When I asked them to stop they said where are we supposed to sit and I should have covered the furniture or left it at the other dorm and I was a racist because I did not want black guys sitting on my furniture.

There was one black guy out of the group who was cool. He was good guy and smart. Engineering. He would always call these guys out for things and they would get upset and argue with him. The situation got progressively worse (no pun intended) and I ended up running away; renting off campus within walking distance and letting the college housing department keep $1,600.00 cash when they refused to refund and demanded I stay or lose the money.

It also took me forever to get an on campus job because because I was white. There is a subsection admin code for this also. Apparently more white students have cars and so called minorities should have priority over all white students with on campus jobs.

Years later I was blocked from an apartment because I was white. I watched a black supervisor break her own corporate rules and give a black man my apartment after I put a deposit down then extend my waiting time and returned the deposit to give it to him even though he was paying LESS than me. The only reason I could see is because he was black. He paid $1,600 for that unit. I had to pay more for a sh---ty unit when I was first in line with a deposit.

Later I moved up 2 floors above and I paid $2,000. After a few years my rent was increased to $3,200. I went downstairs on the same day they put the increases on everyone's door. The original black guy only lived 2 floors down. I took the rent increase letter off his door. His rent was $2,500 for an identical unit and he was getting a government employee relocation rent subsidy for $1,500.00 per month. The government is paying it's employees housing assistance pay for transfers both permanent and temporary (regardless of race). It doesn't come out of your salary. This means he had only pay $1,000 month TO LIVE ON THE FU-CKING BEACH vs. me who had to pay $3,200 cash from after tax money. The black female supervisor who did this was eventually fired. This government relocation rent subsidy still goes on today. Your taxes are paying to help a government worker live on the beach. All he has to do is come up with the difference. It's not based on race but nonetheless it's b-----t because it drives up rents. And nobody reports on it !

Later I watched a highly skilled, highly competent younger supervisor (white guy) who just got married and had a baby fired because a black client falsely accused him being racist. His evidence? The guys tone and attitude difference in respect shown on his account. He was eating up everyone's time and upset with the service as a result of the response and notified the local news. The white supervisor with a baby was immediately fired and replaced by an incompetent black women. Why? Because the owner was expecting the news to show up. But they never did. She was then fired 6 months later. And yes - the white owner did all this to prove he was not racist. When the black client left he called an emergency meeting and was shaking like leaf demanding "answers". There were no answers because there was no racism. The client made it all up.

I have other experiences of reverse racism but I've already said too much. I have never seen a black person discriminated against in the same way. Unless you count police statistics.

Yet in spite of all this negativity and the Marxist identity politics being shoved down everyone's throat I really don't want to give up my values. I refuse to trade buy or sell based on someones race or political affiliation or offensive advertising. Someones personal life or politics or other beliefs should not matter ... and I refuse to cater to this idea. Business is business and I will always use the product or service that has what I'm looking for or provides the best combination of quality price and service period.

Read some history, bro. Civilizations which are too trusting of their neighbors always wind up conquered, and usually slaves. We are in a war that the Left has declared on us. They’ve said as much in so many different ways, and just because nobody is shooting doesn’t mean we aren’t experiencing active hostilities. You are at risk from racism and racists. And they come in all different colors. It’s no good to pretend it isn’t happening. You have to push back, to turn their perfidy back onto them. Or they not only get away with it, but they use their success as license to ramp up their tactics to 11.
I’m not arguing for racism! I’m arguing for discrimination against leftists by all right thinking people. And right thinking doesn’t necessarily mean conservatives. It means that leftists don’t thing correctly and must be opposed.

It’s funny, black owned businesses around here all have word “black” in actual name. One has “reparations”.

Amazon has a huge problem. None of their merchandise can be guaranteed authentic. Their new warehouse structure, requires all vendors to ship them their products.
Then Amazon ships it out. That means, the folks selling knock off iPhones, and the Guys selling fakes, all end up on the same shelves. You don't know which one they are going to pick for you. Plus Amazon is having the Ebay effect.
Their fees, and costs of doing business on Amazon, has risen their prices until they are no longer a bargain, compared to buying direct from an online store.

Agreed, price wise it's not even cheaper anymore. But they will want to make up for that with prime, wf, aws and other more profitable ventures.

Always keep in mind that this bullshit fascination with racism by the left is a deliberate technique to divide us against each other so we can't unify against the traitors who outsourced everything to China.

They say "racism" and you should reply with "this kind of bullshit is why the elite gets away with outsourcing everything to China". Point out that it drives down their wages too. We should be unified against outsourcing.

This is why I have relaxed into the Reconquista. We are apparently too weak and foolish now to defend ourselves.
I am a pragmatist/pessimist and I can't game-plan out a win under any circumstances, mostly due to birth rate.
My plan is to improve on my high school Spanish so I can communicate, along the lines of: Sí señor jefe, muy bien, volveré al trabajo.
Or just move the fuck back to Montana and put up with the winters.

https://www.politico.eu/article/data-at-risk-amazon-security-threat/

YOUR ORDER HISTORY. Your credit card information. Even your intimate health data.

Amazon is amassing an empire of data as the online retailer ventures into ever more areas of our lives. But the company's efforts to protect the information it collects are inadequate, according to insiders who warn the company's security shortfalls expose users' information to potential breaches, theft and exploitation.

The warnings about privacy and compliance failures at Amazon come from three former high-level information security employees — one EU-based and two from the U.S. — who told POLITICO they had repeatedly tried to alert senior leadership in the company's Seattle HQ, only to be sidelined, dismissed or pushed out of the company in what they saw as professional retaliation.

We can do some important things, first of all never using Amazon.

Easier said than done for some. It's a lifesaver for those in rural areas that are within a couple hour drive from a warehouse (1-2 day shipping). I'd rather stay at home and not have to drive an hour or two round trip sometimes to get certain products.

My town has a grocery store (small), gas station and auto parts store. That's it for retail products. Otherwise it's all service based, restaurants, hair cuts, gyms, etc.

Time is money and that's why Amazon has become successful. Most consumer products purchased have been planned for days or longer. So getting something 2 days later and spending 0 time getting it is of huge value.

They're likely just as bad though. They just haven't slipped up or bought an online paper/news outlet. Plus everything in Target is from China anyway.

I'm in no way defending Amazon. I don't like the company. I'm just speaking to my situation. I'd be in the car 5-8 hours extra every month if I didn't use Amazon. Between the wife and I that 60-100 hours a year has value for family time, but also financially. ~2 weeks of work. That's almost $10k of us driving around picking up products that could have been shipped while we relaxed or made more money for whatever the prime fee is ($119?).

It's similar to Chase. I don't like Chase. But I'm making them pay me $5-9k per year in airfare. Tax free. We don't pay interest. Just got back from an awesome golf trip in Phoenix I would have never done because airfare would have been 2 rounds of golf. Chase paid for that. So I'm fucking them over.

If there's any kind of Amazon card open it, get the bonus, pay it off immediately and close it if you so choose. As a partner card you can screw probably Chase (or whatever bank) and Amazon at the same time. Have all your friends do it. These rewards programs cost a lot of money, but for every 2 people that pay it off, 8 don't and pay 20% interest. If there was a disciplined effort like Gamestop, you could move the market.

Unlikely, but if you wanted to stick it to these big guys it's the route to go outside of negative reviews and minor stuff like that.

That's what's called sacrifice! Not that you don't already, or that you necessarily should in this case.

Imagine if you got your community to rally and people 'picked up orders' for others while they were in town. The larger town, nearby, whatever that is. And news spread so other small communities started to do it. Then amazon got bent. Retailers started to move into your small town, because they can actually survived, etc...

I like the creativity here!

But still, all retailers are at a disadvantage to Amazon because they need wait staff and a storefront, while Amazon does not.
