A Minnesota lawmaker introduced legislation to punish any person convicted of crimes in connection with a protest by making them ineligible for state government assistance — including food stamps, student loans, unemployment benefits and health care.
GreaterNYCDude saysI haven't been following all that closely, but I think he gets off. (Mostly peaceful) riots to follow... 😞
Not so sure. It was a rather weak defense. Though that might be because they got one juror they recognized as an advocate and get a hung jury. I've got $100 on it with my buddies dad, but I don't think the defense did all that well. I'll probably lose.
I also haven't watched much myself. From reports though I felt it was kind of a weak defense. We'll see. He won't be guilty on all charges and riots will break out anyway this case breaks. They'll charge him with something. Even if it's all guilty, it's just verification that BLM was "right" and they'll riot anyway. This is a 100% lose lose situation. Get your guns ready if you live in a city either way. Sad we have to live this way.
Hung jury. Like, literally, a hung jury. Survivors will need to move away.
Many Floyd supporters don't know he overdosed.
The coming cop shortage is going to be staggering.
if there is no conviction or a hung jury,
I think he is going to get off. Riots at 11. There is a reason for the reading of the verdict to be delayed. They want to get the police and National Guard in place.
Let Minneapolis burn as long as the suburbs stay safe.
His brother felonious floyd is waiting for check.
Chavin was just found guilty on 2nd and 3rd degree murder charges.
Guilty on all three charges.
Looks like he was found guilty of Third Degree Murder. Carries a maximum of 25 years in Minnesota. He will probably be out in five.
Immediate appeal based on Maxine Waters inflammatory comments, jury tampering.
It'll be overturned on appeal. The judge and the defense were clearly setting it up that way, get some distance from the contaminated venue.

Oh BULLSHIT.
Chauvin is going to prison, rule of law is over.
I like how people keep trusting the system. You know who allowed Antifa and BLM to riot for 9 months? The government did. They let them burn, loot and murder. No consequences.
Kyle Rittenhouse is the next to go away on murder, for killing 2 pedophiles and shooting 1 wife beater who were trying to kill him.
Haha - people who still have faith in the system, allow the system to continue to exist. The government is at war against the civilian population. It can't get more obvious than this, and it's going to get worse and worse and worse until even the dimmest of people realize it.
All they need is at least one juror to testify that he/she was afraid to vote the other way because of the riots that would happen.
...and then there is this view:
The sheer number of clearly non-native English Speakers and $9/hr Pentagon/FBI Troll Factory Workers pushing Racial Socialism and Hopeless Defeatism on the big boards proves it.
Verdict will be overturned on appeal, as far out as they can make it from the proximal shitstorm.
Verdict will be overturned on appeal, as far out as they can make it from the proximal shitstorm. The jury was so tainted it isn't funny.
I haven't been following all that closely, but I think he gets off.
