AFAIK there's only one childhood disease which goes the reverse, i.e. from serious to harmless as one ages, and that is pertussis (whooping cough). I'm glad I had most (if not all) of them as a kid. Nothing like natural immunity.

What is your theory on why it's red? My county on that map is reddish. I have not heard of anyone recently being tested positive. I know a lot of people. Maybe the vaccine works, fine. We were nearing herd immunity WITH a lockdown and mask wearing. This could have all been done with last October. Protect the elderly and weak.

It astounds me to this day that people don't get basic biology and science. If 10 people got it and you locked them up, fine you could have stopped this. Thousands got this. I slightly agree with you, but FB also is generally a name to a face. As in you can't hide behind your comments. People will know who you are. Friends and family will see your comments and call out your bull shit. It's not ironclad, but FB generally has true feelings and comments. It's too easy for others to call you out that know you. Part of why it's so toxic. You learn a lot about people that you didn't know.

My experience has been that the investment groups on FB are full of BS and trolls. Had conversations with few in India. People are getting infected who got vaccinated! At my neighborhood pretty much all going through pain who got jab. One woman ended up in urgent care and went through ct scan for the unstoppable a week long headaches and body pains. Good that she says is ok now. Depends on the group. I don't use FB often. Some groups are wide open though, I know that for sure. I have a few groups I run currently for trips we're going on. Even in a closed group though generally people know each other. If they're BS'ing they may not get called out, but it will bring into question the integrity of the person BS'ing even if nothing is said.
