So, I was out at dinner with my old battalion commander – literally outside, because dining inside apparently is super deadly if you live under blue tyranny – and we were laughing at this whole “Muh Insurrekshun” nonsense. What happened January 6 was no “insurrection” in any meaningful sense of the word, especially not to those who survived the riots of 2020, and not to us either. See, I was my old battalion commander’s assistant operations officer and I was riding with him in his HUMVEE driving through Los Angeles as it burned in April 1992.

That was a riot. What happened on Capitol Hill was a few dudes dressed like Conan the Fauxbarian acting like fools and occasionally fighting with the cops while a few hundred other dudes took selfies in the Rotunda.

We were in the 3rd Battalion, 160th Infantry, the first combat arms unit on the street during the LA Riot, a riot brought to you by Maxine Waters and other idiots, by the way. There was burning and looting and dozens we can say with absolute certainty were murdered by the LA rioters, unlike at the Capitol. It lasted for days. You wouldn’t know it from Rep. Stolen Cower, who seems to claim she suffered PTSD from being at the far end of the same ZIP code as the bruhaha, but what happened on January 6 was no “insurrection,” and Republicans need to stop playing along with the Establishment talking point that it was.

The idea of an “insurrection” is to delegitimize all resistance to the garbage Establishment’s reign of error, and to play along is to give credence to its lie and to empower its propaganda. You have done nothing wrong by rejecting the Establishment narrative. You have done nothing wrong by protesting what you see as a flawed election and a corrupt ruling class. You have a right to protest anything you want, and you don’t need their permission.

Dissent is patriotic. Or did that end when it became inconvenient?

They hype the happening because they want to make you afraid to speak up. They want to try to make it impossible for you to live in this society if you do not parrot the party line. They won’t say it that way. They will try to wrap themselves in the same flag they were calling a symbol of white supremacy last year to try to seize some sort of moral high ground and shut you up. Like they give a damn about the Constitution. This tiresome “insurrection” and “sedition” palaver is just a ham-handed attempt to turn 74 million Americans – almost none of whom wear Thor drag – into enemies of mom and apple pie, which is weird because they usually hate traditional family structures and non-kale foods.

This kind of baloney is par for the course for the Democrats. They’re going to call you an “insurrectionist” today and a “racist” tomorrow and some other hogwash after that, so who cares what they say? But what does grate are the Republicans who go along with this bogus framing, and it’s sometimes unclear how much of the reason is just the usual GOPe pol stupidity and how much is the usual GOPe contempt for the GOP base.

Yeah, we get that it was scary to have knuckleheads running rampant through the Capitol. Blame the knuckleheads. Don’t blame the other 74 million people who supported President Trump. And quit playing along with the ridiculous idea that January 6 was Fort Sumpter x 9/11 to the Pearl Harborth power.

It was not. This foaming-mouthed performative overreaction is all cynical performance art, and this goofy impeachment is just a senatorial Toobin Zoomin’.

Now, I also had the chance to see the wreckage of a real insurrection when I was in Kosovo with the Army after the fighting ended. An insurrection means ruins and mass graves, not some dude in a horn hat wandering around the House as a police officer asks him to chill. Don’t let them define insurrection down to mean “Anything conservatives do.” ...

GOP pols, listen up. You are not defending the buffoons of January 6 by accurately characterizing their actions. Stop playing along with the false narrative that unjustly trashes your own people. Stop minimizing what happened in the murderous Democrat-abetted riots in LA in 1991 and throughout our country in 2020 by not just lumping this incident in with them but by pretending it was a zillion times worse.

Just stop.

Even Biden's supporters are beginning to see that they have been sold a bill of goods.

Well him and Congress just shat out a bunch of debt, so his voters probably like him now. So sick of the god damn printing when 50% of people don't pay a fucking dime into the coffers of these cunts. Pissed Trump did it too, to be fair. Open back up and we don't have to print this "extra" debt on top of what we're already printing.

Really, really want a flat tax. No exemptions or BS accounting. You sell your primary residence. 10%. You make $100k. 10%. You sell stocks regardless of time. 10%. You buy food, 10% sales tax.

We really need to get the poor motivated to get off their asses and this is the best approach. Unless you're disabled, you should be working or at least one spouse working and someone at home caring for the kids. I have kids, but no more credits and deductions for that shit either. Flat tax. It's the most equitable and the left loves that shit except when they don't.

Will never happen, but if "we're all in this together" than it's the best approach.

They have to bankrupt the country before they can reset the monetary system. Could a Democrat president have suspended the first amendment?

Trump is an actor. The political theatre is successful in that it incites us to fight against each other as they consolidate their power. It's not right against left. It's them against us.

We are in a civil war.

Disagree. Trump went against the global establishment, especially with China and illegal immigration, and was taken out by a well coordinated fraud. If Trump were an actor, he would have pulled the GOPe bit like a Mitch McConnell and gave in to the establishment.

Well how about a global pandemic where nations are encouraged to tank their economies, put millions out of work, and then print massive amounts of fiat currency to make up the difference? When everyone has devalued currency, a global cry for a global currency will be heard and answered by the usual globalists.

Well, minus the phony pandemic, we did have that situation in the 1930s where millions were unemployed and at least one major economy paid of debts via printing press.

Nobody today can really claim that glory honestly. That would only be the case for someone who takes those crooks that subsidized and executed the vote fraud. And even that would be a rebellion against tyranny, not an insurrection.

All of those long haired bearded white guys look the same.

I heard a breathless reporter say that the insurrectionists were just seconds away from capturing Pence.
32   EBGuy   2021 Mar 15, 5:19pm

The man in the yellowish/tannish sweatshirt with beard is William Watson.
See Auburn man facing federal charges in U.S. Capitol Riot, new details revealed
On January 11, FBI agents met with Watson, who waived his Miranda rights and described his actions the day the U.S. Capitol was overrun by the mob. During the interview, Watson stated he went to Washington, D.C., to “support the patriots, support Trump, support freedom. I guess the overriding thing for why we were there that day is because they were certifying the fraudulent election that day, and so we, to protest that.”
The FBI says Watson has denied doing anything violent and said he was trying to help calm the crowd once he entered the building... The FBI agent indicates a United States Capitol Police Officer did describe Watson as “quiet and reserved and helped USCPO try to calm the crowd.” During a subsequent FBI interview on January 15, Watson admitted he was carrying a can of mace into the Capitol, as well as a pocket knife.

He was arrested earlier in the year on July 2 for trafficking marijuana and LSD.

I can't find any evidence that the man on the far left & wearing a blue surgical mask was ever arrested. Has anyone seen evidence of his identity? Some good advice came out of this -- when entering a federal building be sure to wear your mask.

https://spectator.us/topic/the-capitol-armed-insurrection-narrative-is-crumbling/

One trouble with that narrative is that the only arms were deployed by the Capitol police, one of whom shot someone dead. The victim’s name was Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed veteran and pro-Trump activist who was trying to climb through a window.

The role of the Capitol police that day is curious. At first, they went along with — indeed, they assiduously circulated — the baseless rumor that one of their number, Brian Sicknick, had been brutally beaten to death with a fire extinguisher by a crazed Trump partisan. That story was as eagerly seized upon by the media, just as the phantasmagoric stories about Brett Kavanaugh‘s teenage sexual exploits or the Covington Kid’s rudeness to an Indian elder. It turned out that Sicknick died of ‘natural causes,’ a fact that even the New York Times eventually admitted after their original story had done its damage to Trump and anyone who supported him.

In other words, to justify the current domestic War on Terror that has already provoked billions more in military spending and intensified domestic surveillance, the Pentagon must ratify the narrative that those they are fighting in order to defend the homeland are white supremacist domestic terrorists. That will not work if white supremacists are small in number or weak and isolated in their organizing capabilities. To serve the war machine's agenda, they must pose a grave, pervasive and systemic threat.

Viewed through that lens, it makes perfect sense that Gen. Milley is spouting the theories and viewpoints that underlie this war framework and which depicts white supremacy and "white rage” as a foundational threat to the American homeland. A new domestic War on Terror against white supremacists and right-wing extremists is far more justifiable if, as Gen. Milley strongly suggested, it was "white rage” that fueled an armed insurrection that, in the words of President Biden, is the greatest assault on American democracy since the Civil War.

Armed? The only armed people were the Capitol police, and the only person killed was unarmed Ashley Babbit.
46   AmericanKulak   2021 Jun 25, 11:07am

Reminder that this same Milley is quoted in a book saying he told Trump what was happening last summer with Antifa WASNT an insurrection and told Miller (allegedly) to shit the F up when Miller said it looked like a "War Zone" in Seattle and Minneapolis.

That video shows that Ashli went through the interior window unopposed by cops right next to her. She was caught up in the carnival mood and joyously climbed through the broken window, reminiscent of hundreds of events over the "mostly peaceful" summer of riots. The cop carefully lay in wait with his pistol aimed. Without warning, or attempt to use nonlethal force, he pulled the trigger.

If the killer of that thug Floyd deserved decades in prison, Ashli's killer deserves the death penalty.

So the proper response to anyone who calls it an insurrection should be:

“I’m willing to discuss the matter with you as adults once you decide to be an adult and describe the situation in accurate and honest terms. Until that happens you can go fuck yourself”.

Nancy Pelosi, mainstream media, and pretty much everyone else on the left (as well as a few fools on the right) want you to believe the mostly peaceful Capitol Riots only involved MAGA patriots. They consistently proclaim that there were no Antifa, BLM, or other Neo-Marxist groups infiltrating the protests and prompting the “storming” of the Capitol (at the prompting of Capitol Police, but I digress).

An inconvenient video has leaked revealing at least two radical progressive infiltrators preparing to go engage in the MAGA protests at the Capitol. Another video shows them posing as One America News reporters. So much for the “no infiltrators” narrative.

https://babylonbee.com/news/aoc-donates-casket-she-was-buried-in-on-january-6th-to-smithsonian

WASHINGTON, D.C.—In a touching and powerful gesture, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has decided to donate the casket she was buried in after being killed on January 6th to the Smithsonian.

"As you all know, I was literally murdered by MAGA terrorists during the January 6th insurrection," said AOC in a statement. "After my funeral, I realized that the casket I was buried in had become a national symbol of hope, as well as a dark reminder of that dark day."

To help ensure America never forgets the horrific events of January 6th, AOC has donated her coffin to be put on display for future generations to see. It will be held in a glass case, with a plaque saying "Never Forget."

Inspired by AOC's example, others are stepping up to donate items to the new exhibit, which include:

Buffalo guy's iconic buffalo hat
Soiled trousers worn by journalists on that day
Nancy Pelosi's podium
Hundreds of deadly selfie sticks used by insurrectionists
The new exhibit will be open to the public as soon the security threat from more Trump-inspired insurrections is passed.

https://babylonbee.com/news/never-forget-here-are-12-of-the-items-that-have-been-donated-to-the-smithsonians-jan-6th-exhibit

The Smithsonian has seen an influx of donations of relics from January 6, the darkest day in our nation's history, if you don't count a few of the big ones. Here are twelve of the most significant artifacts that have been donated so far:

1. Buffalo guy's buffalo hat - This will be displayed on a full wax replica of buffalo guy in a diorama of his natural habitat, grazing out on the plains.

2. The American flag pants Trump was wearing during the attack - Do you think anyone wants a roundhouse kick to the face while Trump is wearing those bad boys? Forget about it.

3. The deadly selfie sticks carried by the attackers - These weapons will forever remind us of their violence.

4. Joe Biden's half-eaten ice cream cone - When he heard about the attack, he fainted (or maybe fell asleep; it's unclear). The ice cream will forever go unlicked. Haunting.

5. Joe Biden - Speaking of ancient relics, Kamala Harris has donated Joe Biden to the museum to be preserved for future generations.

6. A tumbler filled with authentic AOC tears - A rare and beautiful treasure. Sigh, we love AOC.

7. Knittin' MeeMaw's reading glasses - Future generations will get chills down their spines as they view these - the spectacles of a killer.

8. Nancy Pelosi's dentures - The very dentures she was wearing when the attack happened. Wow. So rare!

9. The charred ruins where the Capitol used to be - The giant crater from all the destruction will be preserved forever.

10. The barricades the police officers voluntarily moved aside to let people in - Truly an indication of how violent these rioters were.

11. The 155 mm artillery shell that blew up and killed AOC - Fragments of the shell were recovered and will be displayed along with 400 other things that killed AOC in a special seventeen-room exhibit.

12. Trump's authentic LEGO models of the Capitol, White House, and Pentagon - Once the FBI is finished investigating Trump's extensive LEGO collection, they'll be turned over to the museum.

Be sure to visit the Jan. 6 exhibit the next time you're in D.C.! It will probably be mandatory for all American subjects at some point anyway!
