Sikhs are under constant attacks from Pakistan side / Muslims. They needed to be ready all the time last 400 years. It used to be convert or die for Sikhs. It's was good for defence but don't think sword n kada is effective against guns n drones. But if you must follow all in the books written 500 years ago, then go for it. They should update n say get gun n armor or whatever helps attack n defend

I can't keep repeating it. Best option for Sikhs is to migrate away from Islamic republic of Pakistan and Taliban republic of Afghanistan.
There are 1300 Sikhs in Afghan and and 50k in Pakistan... Both huge exaggeration as real number are few.

By comparison UK,Canada & US have over million each.
Most other Anglo countries have over 100k. Malaysia and other countries have more.

Sikhs are better of migrating these few Sikhs to safe location than go there to defend them as it is not possible... Migration happening already.
(Even Israel which is much more powerful than Sikhs failed to protect Jews in France from hard line Islam and chose migration)

Sikhs can't fight with state, But they can take out "ugly" people from state and bring Khalsa Raj and it will happen when people understand that Khalsa is basically "us", the people.
You can keep bringing this meaningless "talk", Sikhs & Muslims already separated in 1947.Punjab,India has less than 1% and most in Malerkotla as Sikhs have very good relationship there due to history.
Also Ahmadiya has head quarters in Punjab,India and they are also against wahabi virulent islam.

The Poynter Institute for Media Studies has published a harsh reprimand of CNN anchor Chris Cuomo Thursday for his taking part in strategy sessions advising his brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, amid the fallout from the governor’s sexual misconduct allegations.

Poyter’s Tom Jones argued that Chris Cuomo was “deservedly under scrutiny for crossing a journalistic line” following revelations that he took part in advisory calls with Andrew Cuomo and some of his staff members, with Jones calling the situation “a conflict of interest that has been more than a year in the making.”

“Stop and think about what happened here,” Jones wrote. “The host of a primetime show on one of the country’s biggest and most influential cable news networks is advising one of the most powerful and influential politicians in this country on how to handle serious sexual misconduct allegations.”

Nine women, including both current and former aides, have in recent months accused Gov. Cuomo of sexual misconduct.

Well, Fauci funded Peter Daszak to create it, and he in turn employed Dr. Shi Zheng Li (the "Bat Lady") in Wuhan to actually do it:

So you could call it a joint effort of Fauci and the CCP. They are both guilty.

And I agree, the CCP is determined to destroy ancient Chinese culture because it is a threat to their whole ideology. That's primarily why they "reformed" Chinese writing: to make it harder for mainland Chinese to read old Chinese books.

1) cases is a weak data set. Read how the tests work= case numbers don’t mean what you think they mean. Deaths would be far better but still deeply manipulated.

2) population density on a statewide level probably also doesn’t mean much. People living on top of each other in a city fill certainly increase viral spread... but your measurement of statewide is flawed. What if Manhattan was in the middle of a national park the size of Canada? Statewide population density simply doesn’t tell you what you suggest it’s telling you.

3) when you look at a far more reliable (but still manipulated) deaths category, NJ is number 1 and NY is number 2, etc...

Conclusion: your data is cherry picked and model is self serving. All you are showing is states with lower pop density vote republican. The rest is statistical gibberish.

113627   clambo   2021 May 26, 11:51am

The title is wrong, but it seems to be true that density of living conditions affected the spread of Wuhan/Corona/SARS-Cov2/Covid.

1. California rules were very strict, I was there during the pandemic until December 2020.
A lot of Mexicans and others live closely together as rents are generally high.
There were a bunch of cases in farming areas.
2. Florida rules were less strict, I noticed a big difference when I got here in late December 2020.
Florida doesn’t have a serious problem, but housing is generally more affordable and the geezers live with one person or even alone.

I don’t think we should have shut down the economy but I know the actual reason was political, not the public health. The

Mail in voting was the real purpose for the fake panic.
113628   theoakman   2021 May 26, 12:01pm

New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, CT, and MA had more deaths per 100k than every single country the majority of the pandemic. It wasn't until now that Hungary and Bulgaria finally caught up.
113629   joshuatrio   2021 May 26, 12:27pm

Ooooh, I'm scared now. I want to go get the jab.

No wait, fuck that, I don't.

When leftists don't like traditional data: deaths/infections per population - they create new charts that support their ideas.

Now we get this bullshit chart with population weighted density against republicans which now interprets the data with a big ass leftists slant.

Exactly.

Further response for a shit post such as this isn't worth anyone's time.

The odds of dying from covid in my age group are less than getting struck by lightning. I'll take the chance and live in a free state.

New York being 1st in Population-Weighted Density (PWD), we would expect it to be 1st highest in number of cases per capita.

Yes, they prefer deaths. Cases are just fun for NY to see how quickly they can kill them. How about cases that result in death?

You can manipulate this data anyway you want. You ignore that Covid is not remotely deadly to 80-90% of the population anywhere. Even in that segment, maybe, maybe 1-2% die. We're talking fractions, not whole percentages. There are proven therapeutics. Supposedly the vaccine works. We should be 100% back to normal at this point.

I don't think there's a user here that doesn't believe covid exists. There's just a proper reaction based on the outcome. Keep old people safe/vaccinated and let's get this shit going. Stop with the masks. It's beyond a joke at this point. It's about control and you're buying it. Gotta think man.
113631   AmericanKulak   2021 May 26, 12:40pm

Florida is in the bottom 50% for COVID deaths, despite being a huge state with one of the largest percentages of seniors, and, if memory serves, the largest head count of seniors. Not to mention a high obesity rate that I believe rivals if not exceeds NY/NJ.

Let's make sure we're clear here -- NY, the state where the virus broke out worst before any measures could be taken, where people are living in the most dense conditions, with mass public transit, has recorded fewer infections per-capita than some of the least dense rural states, which had close to no cases by the time we were fully aware of the virus.

What in the flying fuck do cases have to do with anything? We want people to get it. We want immunity. It's not a bad thing. Cases to death is the metric if you want to put us in our place. NY has been a disgrace. That's indisputable. Use data that matters.

When they did the antibody study a year ago, they showed that 20% of NYC was likely infected by May of last year. Can't record cases when you didn't even have the testing to go around. Or do you actually believe your own bs and think that NYC somehow had less cases but more deaths than the rest of the world.

Lockdowns were an unmitigated disaster, preventing few deaths and only delaying cases until later. They caused widespread misery, both human and economic, contributed to many horribles, and were awesomely unhealthy for the population.

Now you have some cherry-picked charts that show a marginal benefit to lockdown states over states where freedom was allowed. Big deal! I’d rather more died than we lose all freedoms. This lockdown dogma was just sparing a few old and rich over the young and poor.
The negative ramifications of lockdowns and year-long school closures will be felt for many years as crime spikes to record levels and poverty and inequity increased to epidemics of their own.

They've got the Covid Chinese Manipulated virus paid for by Fauci, Obama and Bill Gates through gain of function research. Then at the same time, they attempted an Election Steal. 113639   fdhfoiehfeoi   2021 May 26, 2:05pm

First off for all the false paradigm'ers, specifically the R side, if you guys haven't already made a chart like this to show how L's are wrong, I'm sure you will, so lets cut the hypocrisy.

Now let me mention a few points nowhere covered in this data set. Locking down a state, and telling people what to wear on their personal bodies when they their house is totalitarianism. Even in the best case where you argue the measures were scientifically relevant, it's still an ends justify the means outlook that trashes freedom and responsibility. If you save a world by enslaving people, was it really justified? So fuck the voting percentages, and face reality.

I live in California, and have family I have visited in Florida and Colorado, and family I have not visited in Iowa. I have neither seen, nor heard of any difference as to how people are doing across any of these states, despite California and Iowa being at extreme ends of your chart. The only general impression I have is that things are better almost everywhere else, and worse here in your posterboy golden state. This has nothing to do with sickness, and everything to do with totalitarianism. Most of the people in my engineering org have gotten their GMO shot. All of them were worried about how their bodies would react, almost like they were in the death lottery. None of them seem any less scared now.

I don't need to be TOLD there is a pandemic, I'll see it with my own eyes.
I don't need to be BRIBED to do something good for my health, I'll do it of my own volition.

Information missing is the amount of those tested, or tested residents of the state per capita. Like others have said, the accuracy of the testing methodology and what constitutes a case can come into question here.

You need to look at deaths as a percentage of population. Trying to link it to a political party is disingenuous. Quit trying to give blue states an out.

Bottom line, restrictions did nothing.

I'm not saying it doesn't exist. I'm saying this isn't what you think it is. No one on this forum will die from covid and I know nothing about any of you. No one will die. This is fact.

The scare tactics are getting nauseating though. We've legitimately known of a user here that has died supposedly falling down the damn stairs. Maybe or maybe not murdered. Yet you continue to push this shit? A pandemic kills. This doesn't. Your belief is based off lies and you cannot see it. It's not conspiracy. Not tin foil hat. It's reality. Covid is not deadly to 90%+ of the population. 10% of people might have a 1-2% chance of dying. You'll die of other things before covid, including the seasonal flu.

Most big leftoid cities have mostly single tds basement dwellers whereas rural states have far more family households which account for 90% of the transmissions. Lockdowns and masks in leftoid states have accomplished nothing besides destroying the economy and pleasing the hunger for fear porn of its basement dwellers.
