The whole point of the First Amendment is to protect speech that someone does not like. Speech that everyone agrees with, like "Have a nice day" needs no protection. Only speech which offends someone needs protection.

But I am almost 100% certain that no sodomista would ever defend the same right for anyone else. Maybe there are a few on earth, but the exception would then prove the rule.

The primary difference between right and left is that the right defends rights for everyone, while the left demands rights for themselves alone while violently denying those same rights to all others.

Almost everything useful I learned, I learned on my own, not in school.

The only useful things I learned in school was how to type, some reading and writing - but I did most of that on my own, and some parts of mathematics and biology - but again, much of that I learned on my own.

Public schools are largely indoctrination centers. Go read one of your kid's text books, go over their homework.

Four Things you Should get from an Education:

1) Communication skills: the ability to express your ideas in writing and in speech.
2) Problem solving skills: the ability to gather facts, research possibilities, and use formulas or apply procedures to come up with solutions.
3) Discipline: the ability to do the work, jump through the hoops, and make sacrifices to get the job done.
4) Vocational skills: marketable knowledge and expertise that can be used by others, or yourself, to build wealth.

If you can develop these skills you can lead a happy productive life. School is not needed to learn these things but a good education can quickly guide you through knowledge that may take years to gain as an autodidact. Having said that having the internet sure does make it easy to be an autodidact.
