The U.S. Government Lied For Two Decades About Afghanistan
Using the same deceitful tactics they pioneered in Vietnam, U.S. political and military officials repeatedly misled the country about the prospects for success in Afghanistan.
Glenn Greenwald
“The Taliban regime is coming to an end,” announced President George W. Bush at the National Museum of Women in the Arts on December 12, 2001 — almost twenty years ago today. Five months later, Bush vowed: “In the United States of America, the terrorists have chosen a foe unlike they have faced before. . . . We will stay until the mission is done.” Four years after that, in August of 2006, Bush announced: “Al Qaeda and the Taliban lost a coveted base in Afghanistan and they know they will never reclaim it when democracy succeeds. . . . The days of the Taliban are over. The future of Afghanistan belongs to the people of Afghanistan.”
For two decades, the message Americans heard from their political and military leaders about the country’s longest war was the same. America is winning. The Taliban is on the verge of permanent obliteration. The U.S. is fortifying the Afghan security forces, which are close to being able to stand on their own and defend the government and the country.
Maybe this Fuck up was to throw Biden under bus to be replaced with cackling Harris.

Of course we all know, Afghanistan was allowed to fall like this. So they can project the imagery onto the January 6th, stop the steal rally defendants being wrongfully railroaded into trumped up terror charges.

Is this insurrection comparable to the Jan. DC insurrection?
Former Navy SEAL Rob O’Neill — who killed Al Qaeda terrorist leader Osama bin Laden in 2011 — blasted President Joe Biden and his administration on Monday for its handling of the rapidly deteriorating situation in Afghanistan and called for the resignation of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley.
“There are Afghans falling to their deaths off of our retreating aircraft,” O’Neill said in the first of a series of tweets. “Has @thejointstaff resigned yet?”

“Has this dude quit yet? @thejointstaff” he said in a separate post, tagging Milley’s office.

“This is the worst loss in American history. Our most popular president has vanished,” O’Neill wrote. “Prove me wrong.”

“The Taliban aren’t wearing masks! Go get em Fauci! Seriously. Go to Afghanistan. Now,” another tweet stated.

“We’ve heard more from The Taliban than we have from the most popular president in our history,” O’Neill said. “Anything @PressSec?” he added, referring to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.

“Have any of our generals and admirals resigned out of disgrace yet?” O’Neill continued in a separate tweet.

“My friends who died for no reason would be disgusted with this administration,” he continued.

“Do I have this all right?: Our border is wide open, China’s biological weapon is surging, we closed our pipelines but opened Russia’s, the Taliban is back in charge, we are defunding the police and people with penises are women,” O’Neill said. “What did I miss?”

O’Neil’s criticism of the administration comes as Biden remains on vacation at Camp David despite the chaotic situation in the Middle East. As of Monday morning, Biden has yet to address the nation.
The White House did comment on the situation with a post on Twitter, apparently showing Biden in a meeting with senior administration officials.
“This morning, the President and Vice President met with their national security team and senior officials to hear updates on the draw down of our civilian personnel in Afghanistan, evacuations of SIV applicants and other Afghan allies, and the ongoing security situation in Kabul,” the tweet stated, accompanied by a photo of Biden on a conference call.

On Sunday, Fox News reported that White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki will also be unavailable this week, according to an automated reply the network received after emailing Psaki a list of questions.
“I will be out of the office from August 15th-August 22nd,” the auto-reply email to Fox News stated. The email included a list of press officers to reach with questions in her absence.

Does this just fucking crack anyone else up? I mean, its beyond funny. These people for 20 years bitched an moaned about how the US wasn't getting out of their way to let them run their country, and now that we are out, "oh, poor us! why isn't the US still here!?!?" AAHHAHAHAHAHAHA.
I don't care if biden is screwing it up or not. Get us the fuck out of there. If anything, lob a few moab s into the taliban advance, with a little hand wave on the way out!.
The only ones bitching are the ones who see their military contracts drying up, and the end of MIC kickbacks to their campaigns!

This may become the most infamous — and devastating — press conference ever held by an American President.

This Afghanistan vet just blew up MSNBC’s entire Biden-simping Afghanistan narrative LIVE ON AIR.
What a glorious takedown. Watch this.

Occam's razo says Biden is retarded.
Occam's Razor is not very good at explaining the machinations of evil because it's blind to evolved competitive thought processes in populations, psychopathy, counter evolved intra species predation etc.

Occam's Razor is often misunderstood and said to mean "the simplest explanation is usually the correct one". That's not what it really says. It says "the explanation with the least number of assumptions is likely to be the correct explanation" - and it stands to reason that an explanation with NO assumptions MUST be correct.
However, there is also the tracing of motive and opportunity, which OcRa isn't that good at. I don't think the quantum computers are operating on the premise of OcRa, more on chaos theory and variable, changing, multifactorial circumstances.

Looks like Biden may have dug his own political grave, the way everything is unraveling in Afghanistan.
Will he be a 1 and done prez because of this - me thinks so. What do you folks think ?
Also, if Trump ain't getting prosecuted, he is prolly coming back for a second inning.
Thoughts ?
