California High School Barricades Maskless Children in Gym, Staffer Turns Down Thermostat to “Freeze Them Out”

Oakdale, California – High School students at Oakdale Joint Unified School District began protesting the state’s mask mandate after Governor Newsom was spotted at a 49ers-Rams game without a mask on.
“If they don’t follow by their own rules that they’re trying to force upon me, why should I follow them,” an Oakdale High School student told CBS 13.
Brave high schoolers showed up to school without masks this week and the far-left school staffers used lunch tables to barricade the children in the school’s gym.
Getting reports that after hundreds protested against school mask mandates yesterday, today, @OakdaleJUSD barricaded any student not properly wearing a mask in the gym and refused to turn on the heat. Police were called for a wellness check and police turned on the heat.

The police were called to conduct a welfare check after a school staff member turned down the thermostat to “freeze them out.”
A school officer conducted a welfare check and concluded it was not a police matter so the abuse is not currently under police investigation.
Update: Confirmed staff attempted to barricade the maskless high schoolers in the gym by putting tables in front of the exits. A staff member also was caught turning down the thermostat to “freeze them out.”

After escaping the freezing gym, the students marched to the district headquarters in protest.
God bless these children.

I am so dang impressed with these kids who refused to wear masks at a Washington school and the remarkable young man who led them
That young man is a leader. The kind of leader we sorely and desperately need in America right now.
It's so encouraging to see these kids fight back against the cowardly adults who want them to get with the program. If mask mandates have a silver lining, it's all the free-thinking, based kids that are starting to rage against the machine. The ramifications of a generation that doesn't buy into the Narrative™ are huge.
Here were the students brushing past a staff worker who whined impotently that they needed to take a mask to come inside the school ...
Keep it up, kids! ✊
When Bill DeJong went to pay his employees at Billy’s Café in Burlington last month, he suffered a gut punch after opening his bank account.
Nearly $8,700 needed for payroll was gone, DeJong told The Dori Monson Show. It was seized by the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) over what the agency says are COVID “safety citations.”
Chehalis restaurant that racked up $400,000 in fines over COVID rules to close permanently
Over the past few months, DeJong says, L&I slapped him with more than $367,000 in fines over refusing to adhere to Gov. Inslee’s mask mandates. But the café owner objects to what he calls the state’s “crazy rules,” and says dining at his restaurant is “up to Americans and I am not telling them what to do.”
“I want to make sure we’re clear: When [COVID] first happened, I shut down like everybody else,” DeJong said. “I was worried about the safety of my employees, my customers, my family.”
But after months of following rules that DeJong says were “super confusing – ‘wear your mask when you sit down, but then when you get up, but not when you’re eating’” — he said his crew decided that “Americans will decide what’s best for them and their health,” and they dropped the mask mandate.
“I’m totally fine if people don’t want to come in here,” DeJong said. “You have a choice if you want to come into my café, if you want to get something to go, if you want to get it delivered – or if you want to sit down and have a cup of coffee with us.”
That’s when visits from state L&I officers started at the Skagit County business he’s owned since 2014.
“They wanted to ‘educate me’ – those where their words,” DeJong said.
But the daily fines accumulated from $2,000 to now more than $367,000.
Playing devil’s advocate, Dori asked DeJong if it wouldn’t have just been easier to make dine-in guests wear a mask between the door and the table.
“To the veteran who comes in – who sacrificed a lot more than many of us ever had – to tell him what he can or cannot do, or where he cannot sit, or whether he cannot have a cup of coffee? That is not my café, and that’s not America,” DeJong responded.
“I’m not dumb. I know this is a battle,” he said. “It’s against the state, and it’s not going to be easy, and it’s going to be uphill and it’s going to be tough. … We are willing to fight this battle.”
“We’re getting a ton of support from other people in Skagit County, and even across the nation now,” he added. “My job now is to let people know what’s going on and fight the good fight.”
A document published by the World Health Organisation in 2019 framed the results of these studies in no uncertain terms: “there was no evidence that face masks are effective in reducing transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza”. It’s unsurprising, then, that when the CDC briefed reporters on the pandemic in February of 2020, masking was not even mentioned among the NPIs that might be deployed. The UK government, too, stated early in 2020 that there was no evidence to support masking.
Sorry, but I’m not wearing a mask if this guy doesn’t need to wear pants

Remember, folks, correlation is not causation. Except when very old and frail (unvaccinated) people die of Covid.
Then it absolutely is.
Quebec, Canada: a large group of schoolchildren walk out as they refuse to wear muzzles.

Went to Costco yesterday. Everyone was wearing masks. I walked in maskless and did my shopping. The whole time I was there I only saw one other guy without a mask. There was one woman that had her mask on her chin but she pulled it up when she saw me coming
What the fuck is the matter with people?
Same shit in REI and Lucky yesterday.
CA is fooked.

I feel bad for you guys out there. Not being sarcastic either. Beautiful weather and scenery and you cannot go into a business without a mask? I know some of you don't wear them, but still, can't shop without getting fucking side eye from morons for not wearing one. Why should someone have to live that way?
Go ahead and wear one if you want, but don't force me to. Or my kids now. JB is in hot water here in IL. Yesterday he literally said his executive order for masks in schools is still in effect even though the mandate was legally overturned by a County court NOT in Chicago so he's pissed about it. I believe down state #conservative. A majority of districts then voted to take the masks off due to the ruling and he's now throwing a fucking hissy fit because his power is gone.
I haven't looked at p...

If these airlines are a private business, they could still require the mask, correct?
