Facemasks in the COVID-19 era: A health hypothesis
Baruch Vainshelboim⁎

Abstract
Many countries across the globe utilized medical and non-medical facemasks as non-pharmaceutical intervention for reducing the transmission and infectivity of coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19). Although, scientific evidence supporting facemasks’ efficacy is lacking, adverse physiological, psychological and health effects are established. Is has been hypothesized that facemasks have compromised safety and efficacy profile and should be avoided from use. The current article comprehensively summarizes scientific evidences with respect to wearing facemasks in the COVID-19 era, providing prosper information for public health and decisions making. ...

Conclusion
The existing scientific evidences challenge the safety and efficacy of wearing facemask as preventive intervention for COVID-19. The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks. Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects. These include hypoxia, hypercapnia, shortness of breath, increased acidity and toxicity, activation of fear and stress response, rise in stress hormones, immunosuppression, fatigue, headaches, decline in cognitive performance, predisposition for viral and infectious illnesses, chronic stress, anxiety and depression. Long-term consequences of wearing facemask can cause health deterioration, developing and progression of chronic diseases and premature death. Governments, policy makers and health organizations should utilize prosper and scientific evidence-based approach with respect to wearing facemasks, when the latter is considered as preventive intervention for public health.

Watch: Illinois Schools Are Reportedly LOCKING KIDS UP In Rooms For Not Wearing Masks, Even Though The Governor Has Lifted Masking Rules
418   WookieMan   2022 Feb 16, 7:10am

My kids school district pulled the plug on masks last night. They no longer have to wear them at school. My oldest has set our bin of masks for them by the fireplace... lol. I think the teachers might have a rough day today though, we'll see. It's an easy test to see who has been brainwashed the most. Knowing my town I'd think most kids won't be wearing them or some maybe didn't see the email yet.

There's always a parent(s) that is going to have a problem with this. Fortunately I'm in a fuck the government type town so hopefully it's a "peaceful" transition to no mask at the school.

I think I'll cross post this to the rollback thread, because it really is a reversal from the insanity around here.

Went to Costco yesterday. Everyone was wearing masks. I walked in maskless and did my shopping. The whole time I was there I only saw one other guy without a mask. There was one woman that had her mask on her chin but she pulled it up when she saw me coming

What the fuck is the matter with people?

Same shit in REI and Lucky yesterday.

CA is fooked.

The sheeple resent the fact that they now have a modicum of freedom (wrt to the face rag). In such circumstances, I usually advocate "breath free as your God intended you to. Down with tyanny!"

They need a positive affirmation, given how much BS propaganda they've swallowed. It's like rape victims almost - they're so afraid to engage in normal human interactions that they demonstrate obvious PTSD symptoms.

I feel bad for you guys out there. Not being sarcastic either. Beautiful weather and scenery and you cannot go into a business without a mask? I know some of you don't wear them, but still, can't shop without getting fucking side eye from morons for not wearing one. Why should someone have to live that way?

Go ahead and wear one if you want, but don't force me to. Or my kids now. JB is in hot water here in IL. Yesterday he literally said his executive order for masks in schools is still in effect even though the mandate was legally overturned by a County court NOT in Chicago so he's pissed about it. I believe down state #conservative. A majority of districts then voted to take the masks off due to the ruling and he's now throwing a fucking hissy fit because his power is gone.

I haven't looked at polls, but I personally know one Republican gubernatorial candidate who will be on the primary ballot for the R's here in IL. He will win if nominated and goes up against JB fat fuck. The IL Republican party is a shit show though, so I'm sure they'll be some stupid insider fight to get the nomination. Key is he's black. He would 100% win against JB.

Would be a massive life changer for my family. Regulations for over a decade have fucked us over. I know him well enough to get some things changed and we could get state contracts. 7-8 figures overnight if he gets in office (over time). All above board and for a logical product that would save the state hundreds of millions of dollars over the next 10-15 years. Unions are mother fuckers and have cock blocked us for almost 20 years. It's sad. Not doxxing myself, but it's infrastructure related before anyone asks. That's as far as I'll go.

The "mandate" has been lifted yesterday. You can go into business w/o mask. But morons keep clinging to their comfort blankets.

If these airlines are a private business, they could still require the mask, correct?

All the airline CEOs have come out as anti-mask. It is ButtPlug's doing.

So, it is within the power of FJB to require masks on Airplanes? Good God almighty, how the hell would he expect to get re-elected? Or any other Dem? I guess I can't really defend too many Reps either cause I sure as hell don't hear them come out and say FJB. Tyranny, it's what's for breakfast. No question about it, the government is way out of control. They have no constitutional right to be doing half the shit they've been doing for over 100 years now.

“We’ve been poring over the data, specifically the opinions of suburban women in swing states, and it’s become clear that masking children has suddenly become completely ineffective for preventing COVID,” said Democratic pollster scientist Bob McNeill. “It’s really a shocking turnaround, as just last week masks were super effective and anyone who disagreed was a murderer. Gosh, science is amazing!” ...

At publishing time, Jen Psaki was decrying Republicans as the party of masking children while her fan club nodded furiously.

The nice thing is the study showed that masks don’t work, but you’d never know it from reading the paper. You’d only know it if you saw the actual data. And they don’t show you the actual data. They only want you to see the data that supports the “masks work” narrative. They do NOT want you to see the data that doesn’t.

We asked the authors for the original data and we plotted the results for purple masks vs. placebo.

Guess what? Yup. NO DIFFERENCE!

They never even mentioned purple cloth masks made no difference whatsoever. It had ZERO effect. ZERO.
Was this graph noted in the paper? Nope. It was NOWHERE TO BE FOUND IN THE PAPER!

I was in Trader Joe's just now and almost everyone else was wearing a mask, even though they don't have to anymore. On the way out an old woman without a mask thanked me for not wearing one either. It was just her and me in the store without a mask.

It's like I'm living in crazy-land.

Went to whole foods in wine country and was probably 1 out of 10 not wearing a mask. Crazy indeed but a lot of old and scares people

You are living in crazy-land. Almost all of us are. I just came back from working out. I used the elevator and as I was getting off, an asian woman with a mask on jumped back from the elevator when she saw me coming out of it. Amazing.

In the early days of Covid, I did not wear a mask (never did actually) at the super market. I remember coming around a corner and a woman with a cart was so scared she ran her cart right into the corner of an isle and the whole rack of potato chips came crashing to the floor.

You are and it's bad. Hung out with two Chicago cop friends over the weekend. I'm convinced this only gets worse. I think Covid kind of goes away, but the underlying BS might be here to stay if that makes sense. Masks and vaccines will go away, but they've figured out the manipulation. It's not going anywhere. I don't have a guess as to the new form of manipulation coming.

Don't care much though as long as nobody pisses on my leg for not wearing one, and nobody said anything. People can wear full body condoms if they want, don't give a shit as long as they leave me and my family alone with their psychosis

Really? At THIS point?

If you see a maskhole in Central Florida, you KNOW they are almost certainly a far left whacko or an old TV watcher. I go days without seeing people in masks now. Long gone from Supermarket cashiers or restaurant workers or whatever.
