My take: Yes

see https://nitter.pussthecat.org/newkc14?source=patrick.net

Evacuation of civilians from Doneck, Gleiwitz-style explosions in Doneck, and a lot of shelling along border.

Less probable is that they just want to increase tensions to get something out of the West (higher oil/gas prices, promises about non-expansion of NATO, etc).

If they do invade, ZH and a lot of skeptics owe Bidet & Co an apology of sorts. Everything goes to crap if invasion happens, as in economy of the world, residual civil liberties, etc, and one can blame Russians for inflation, loss of life quality, etc, instead of real culprit Bidet.

If I'd be conspiratorial, I'd say that Bidet agents in Russia will push for Russian invasion, but on other hand current CIA and military here can only shout pronouns at enemies as seen from Afghanistan debacle.

He IS the link.

I'm pointing out that is trivial to make a claim about a document, or what somebody said, and provide a link. That's why hyperlinking was created specifically for - for references. That was the whole point of it. When people say something like "look at this screenshot! Isn't this outrageous?" and ESPECIALLY when the "news" media does that there's no excuse for not showing it's actually true.

I was talking to a friend from college 2 months ago, and HE brought up the Mueller report, which I have, and I kind of thumbed through, but it is 300 pages. HE claimed that there was "lots of evidence" in it, and I directly challenged him - "what did it say? What page? I have it on my computer, I'll look it up". "Oh uh, it read it a LONG time ago, I don't know specifically what page it was, or what was said, but it's in there".

No, it isn't. Rachael Maddow is happy to claim there's all this shit, but she can't be bothered to point to a source. Trump was taken out of context with the "there's good people on both sides" when he specifically excluded "white supremacists" in the same sentence. Our media does this shit, people APE the media, they shouldn't.

The claims made by John Mearsheimer might be bullshit, they are HIS claims. What is very common when somebody is lying to you, is that they contradict themselves over time, sometimes immediately. It's really hard to make up a complex lie, and not have a contradiction.

That's why I went through all that Syria shit. Does it make sense that Obama, out of the blue, would warn Assad not to use chemical weapons in 2012? I know Genie Energy was exploring tapping the Leviathan oil reserves back then and really before. Does it make sense Assad would then USE the chemical weapons in 2013 shortly after Genie Energy announces their agreement with Israel to mine oil on Syrian land? Is Assad some sort of idiot? He is a medical doctor - he can't be that stupid. He's got advisors, they can't be that stupid.

Our propagandists don't even try. They don't try with Syria, they don't try with Russia or Ukraine. They claimed that Ukraine's coup was a "revolution". They claimed that the Skripal's were poisoned and the job was so fucked up that the only deaths were the Skripal's poor pets (where are the Skripals today anyhow? Dead?). They keep talking about "Russian aggression" without being specific, it's just "Russian aggression" - really what exactly is the US talking about while they are bombing 7 nations simultaneously?

I'm just fucking tired of it.

The reason a government lies isn't because they just feel like doing it, they lie they have to. Because they lie so blatantly and obviously, instead of cleaning up their propaganda, they just get rid of free speech. The reason there is censorship, is that the government doesn't want the truth to get out any more than it has. Governments lie when they are criminal, and I live under a criminal government. Russia might be a criminal government too, perhaps even worse than ours is - but I don't live under it. That's Russia's problem.

Really, I feel Russia is doing the same thing to us, what we did to the USSR. From the 1950's to the early 1990's, all the US did was tell the truth about what was going on in Russia. That played a significant part in taking down the Soviet Union and good riddance. Russia is returning that favor, and it is a favor. I'm certain they have a ton of censorship and propaganda within their nation, but for our nation? They don't have to bother to lie. And it's not like I spend any time listening to RT or Sputnik, but when I hear them, they don't even give me the information I already know. There's tons of people that have spent time putting together "what's really going on".

The US has been preparing to go after Russia for a LONG LONG time. I don't want the next generation to have to go through, at minimum, another Cold War.

And Poles were ethnically cleansed in Western Ukraine during WW2, one of which is well documented where a whole village - mostly women and children - was burned to the ground by Ukrainians working for the Germans.

I recall reading that after war there was a massive forced population exchange between Soviet Ukraine and Poland. Half million Ukrainians were expelled from Poland and moved to Ukraine, while half million Poles were expelled from Ukraine and moved to Polish New Territories in West.

Now though Poland has a few million very recent Ukrainian immigrants who don't cause much problems.

And the Allies moved millions of Germans from Czech Republic, Netherlands, France, etc. back into Germany at gunpoint.

No revanchism since! Ethnic cleansing works when done right.

Multiple mainstream news reported that Saddam Hussein had a weapons of mass destruction program 20 years ago and we couldn't wait for the final proof to come in the form of a mushroom cloud.

This video was taken during Operation Desert Storm. It was pulled from a satellite feed that showed what the actors, oops, I mean "reporters" were doing during commercial breaks:

original link

Way back then you could pick up live feeds being bounced off from the satellites, before they decided to scramble them. One of the selling points of buying one of those 6' dishes was to avoid commercials although that was only worthwhile for NEWS FEEDS which this is.

I hate to admit it, but there are many cases which seem to prove this true.

The Irish Republic is peaceful because almost everyone is Irish. The north is not peaceful because it's "diverse".

I'll bore y'all by saying it again.

1. Basque terror
2. Yugoslavia Breakup
3. Northern Ireland

All the violent conflicts in postwar Europe to today happened in the few places post WW2 ethnic cleansing DIDN'T happen.

This might be the first actual geopolitical war in Europe since 1945.

I am wrong that Putin is smart enough to sense the weakness of the west and pick the right time to execute occupation with China support.
61   AmericanKulak   2022 Feb 23, 11:43pm

I know Nuland is in Biden's State Department. She's a huge Ukraine into NATO advocate.

Also, the dumbass Georgetown Grads decided to cut off all negotiation 24 hours ago. Biden probably wasn't even told, they just did it. The Deep State is doing whatever it wants under Klain, Obama's, and Jarrett's direction. Psaki and Pelosi and others have made constant gaffes about working with "Obama" instead of "Biden".

So Putin decided it was time. 1991 is going to be reversed, and with Europe's weakness, appeasement, and financial assistance, he'd make some more Steppe Buffer between a potential NATO Ukraine and his oil reserves around the Caspian.

Total Guess at this point.

It's always fun in the Bloodlands, where the Steppes meet Europe proper.

It looks like the bomb crater was created by one of those iron ones WW1 pilots used to toss out a sopwith camel. Pretty sure I saw this video years ago.

In any case, I strongly doubt whatever plane it was deliberately wasted a bomb by dropping it in a suburban area, or flew around at 500mph at low altitude looking for specific children to bomb.

Maybe Biden actually encouraged Putin to invade, to distract from the massive evidence accumulating that the vaxx has been killing people.

LOL! Fake news has been claiming the White House is being evacuated, as if there was ever anybody in there to begin with.

It is twatter of Chechen Al-Nusra and they report massive invasion. They have "boots on ground" on both sides.

Overall, if trump would have been Pres, this would not have happened.

Result for us will be a lot of inflation, oil above only 100 if we are lucky, expansion of State powers in an orgasmic union of neocons and lefties, stock market crash, and drop in life quality. You did it, Joe!

As to what will happen in Ukraine, it is difficult to tell and either situation will be bad. If they defeat Russians (distinct possibility because Russians are incompetent), then Russian Fuhrer will fear for his life and will become even more unpredictable. If they don't, Taiwan is next and our economy will crash harder than in 1929.

I concur. It’s also going to get super froggy for Europeans who were depending on that Russian gas and petroleum to move their lorries and heat their homes. Russia can sell all their gas to China which has an endless market for it. And then Europe will be quite literally out in the cold.

https://spectatorworld.com/topic/biden-exploits-russia-conflict-political-gain/?source=patrick.net

White House press secretary Jen Psaki, with zero self awareness, touted Biden’s “different approach” to the Russian conflict than his predecessor. Francis Fukuyama, a political scientist at Stanford, expressed gratitude that Trump is not in office, asserting that he’d “side with Russia.” Matthew Dowd, the former George W. Bush political strategist, said those blaming Biden for the invasion of Ukraine should plant a Russian flag on their lawns.

What they’re missing, obviously, is that Putin didn’t play games with Ukraine when “Russian stooge” Trump was in office. Perhaps because he had no qualms about giving Ukraine weapons assistance. Maybe because his unpredictability made him fearsome. Possibly because his statements about Russia and Putin that caused — and still cause — apoplectic responses from the establishment were surprisingly good diplomacy.

Further proof that the Biden administration is playing politics with the situation in Russia? They’re conveniently blaming the conflict for rising energy costs and supply chain issues, which have been happening since the start of Biden’s presidency. Biden and Psaki warned there would be a “cost” to pay domestically for “defending democracy and liberty” in Ukraine. CBS News published an article in lockstep with this message, reporting, “The US economy has been hit with increased gas prices, inflation and supply-chain issues due to the Ukraine crisis.”

Just like with the “blame Trump” messaging, other outlets are sure to follow suit.
