Putin fucked up, his generals are incompetent, his army is unwilling, Ukraine is unconquered.

The month Putin chose to invade was wrong, but maybe intended to freeze Germany by cutting off the natural gas? He should have invaded in good weather.

The columns you saw of both attack and supply equipment have to travel on roads, or get stuck in the mud.
Ukraine fighters ambush the supply trucks, then no fuel and no food for the soldiers.
The long column you saw was vehicles that had no fuel, and soldiers spent nights with no warmth and no food in 10F nights. The column actually could neither advance nor retreat.

Nobody wants to drive a supply truck since he knows he’s a target, more so than a tank.

The communications of Russian guys isn’t secure; for some reason they cannot use the secure comms they developed. So, Russian soldiers are using iPhones and walkie talkies.

Ukraine guys use “find my iPhone” or similar technology to “reach out and touch someone” with artillery or drone, etc.
This is how they could kill some Russian generals and commanders who were not on the front lines.

The Russians did not have enough precision bombs and have low training time, and air and ground forces are not coordinated, so Russia has no air superiority to protect the sitting ducks in the columns in the road.

Kiev is so large that the Russians are not numerous enough to encircle it.
Putin is not able to call up all of the Russian army without admitting the “special operation” is in fact a war.
So, he’s trying to get Belarus to send cannon fodder, along with Syrian sacrificial soldiers.
(Belarus is not enthusiastic about the idea).

Meanwhile, the Russian conscripts are being hunted down by Ukraine forces and the dead are estimated at 5000 to 15,000
Edit: US Pentagon says 7000 deadskis.
Wounded are likely 3x the number of dead.
It’s too many dead and wounded too soon.

Just recently videos of Russian atrocities against civilians are embarrassing Putin.
There is a tank swerving to run over and crush a civilian car, cars with people inside blown up, people massacred waiting for bread, an old guy shot for walking down the street.

The lie about NATO “provoked” Russia is easily debunked by the Feb 14 meeting in Kiev of chancellor Scholz and Zelensky.
Germany Chancellor Scholz : It was strange Russia would raise this issue (Ukraine in NATO) given it is not on the agenda.
Putin knew that Germany, therefore NATO, had no plans to bring Ukraine into the alliance, however much Ukraine desired it.

Evidently Ukraine doesn’t need NATO; they are going to be armed to the teeth after this is over.

That was an accident with a Ukrainian tank, used for propaganda purposes.

The other atrocities are sufficiently embarrassing for Putin.

I had heard that Belarus was having too many people outright refusing, resigning, or joining the Ukrainians already to sufficiently dissuade them from joining the invasion because they were unsure whose side their troops would actually fight on.

Putin asking for military help from China is very telling!

War is a gruesome, banal, horrific event. Its realities are so traumatizing and inhumane it boggles the mind that men and women continue to sign up to participate in it.

But, as Ron Paul recently put it, the American people have good anti-war instincts. Regrettably, the war propagandists always work to grind them away.

Those propagandists have certainly been working overtime in recent weeks as the world has watched Russia invade Ukraine and the resulting humanitarian crisis unfold.

Unlike previous wars, this one is playing out on social media—you can literally watch videos of people in the field on Tik Tok and Twitter. And being able to watch war play out up close and in person is having an impact on many American people—but not necessarily in the way one might hope.

While polls show the vast majority of Americans (and especially veterans and military members) are opposed to intervention, videos of Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zellenskyy staying to fight for his country have galvanized popular support for the previously lesser-known leader. Tik Tok in particular is filled with videos thirst trapping for Zelenskyy. You’d think women just found their new favorite boy band leader.

It's still the fog of bullshit all around. However, Russia won't 'lose' according to their goals, which are not conquest per se. It's good enough for me if Russia disassembles the criminal empire of our depraved political class and the Globalists, and points out to the world the Globalists' bioterror and extortion plans.
10   Ceffer   2022 Mar 17, 8:59am

This again is the great, accurate info we are getting from the propagandists:
11   clambo   2022 Mar 17, 9:38am

The posts above assume that I am using traditional media or Ukraine media to form my opinions.
Why make that assumption?

The stranded Russian column far from the Russian border speaks for itself.
Dead generals speaks for itself.
Putin prohibited calling the “special operation” a war or invasion with a 15 year prison threat speaks for itself.
Putin placing the head of intelligence department under house arrest speaks for itself.
Purging of generals has begun which speaks for itself.
Equipment stranded, abandoned, destroyed, stuck in the mud speaks for itself.
Putin changing his “demands” speaks for itself.
13   clambo   2022 Mar 17, 10:44am

Now the Kremlin is talking tough, a sign of weakness from my past experience.

A Putin asslicker threatened “We have the might to put you in your place.”

Tweety bird to Sylvester the cat “ooh, that’s so scarwee”.

Russia is a country like a Three Stooges episode, unfortunately ruled by despots and plundered by the oligarch friends thereof.

An unfriended oligarch goes to prison, or worse.
14   Bitcoin   2022 Mar 17, 10:53am

Its beautiful to see Russia's default. Nothing says losing like a closed stock market. The oligarchs are upset, the russian people hate Putin and Russia's economy is getting fucked.
The Chinese were watching and probably think: fuck this....if we invade another country we will be fucked too.
Russia is done. Putin is done.
15   clambo   2022 Mar 17, 11:27am

China definitely has been rethinking the prospect of invading Taiwan.

I feel the same disappointment as when lots of people just believed that masks would do something, or that it was somehow OK to take an experimental drug which hadn't even been tested on animals, and to force others to take it on pain of being fired for refusal.

You know why they do this right? Same reason why Ukraine called their war "anti terrorist operation". IMF reasons.

This thread looks more like some war propaganda, I don't mind, just telling you it's unrealistic. If it was this way, Ukraine wouldn't be announcing that they are not going to join NATO. Give it another month and it'll all be over, and we will go back to fearing covid or some other manufactured shit.
19   clambo   2022 Mar 17, 12:56pm

I know why Putin doesn’t call it a war nor an invasion; he knows neither is popular among the Russian people.

Unfortunately for Putin, the news of dead soldiers is trickling in, or even some prisoners are calling their mothers telling them about the war.

Denied by both Russia and China. Sourcing for it is the same "anonymous sources" that said Trump paid Hookers to pee on a bed, or that his phone call with Zelensky was bad, etc.

Right, the country that survived Gulags, Holodomors, Multiyear sieges of Leningrad, 90s Gangster Oligarchy, Nuclear Disasters, etc. is going to be crushed because Ivan Ivanovich lost a few week's wages on the Moscow stock exchange. That's as delusional as that WaPo chick who claimed that banning luxury expensive $80/lb Italian Cheeses would make Ivan oust Putin. Ivan the bus driver and Natasha the Nurse don't eat $80 luxury cheese any more than Joe the Plumber in the USA drinks $80 Burgundy.

To give you an idea of how isolated and in danger the Putin regime is, he just purged a bunch of high ranking generals and FSB "Fifth District" (Foreign) Senior Officials. Not the act of a guy increasingly losing control and desperate to placate support. That IS evidence it's not going as easy as he was told, but not the act of a guy losing control of the government. 70%+ of the Russian population supports their "Intervention in Ukraine"

It appears that some people seem incapable of realizing that their media lies to them constantly.

Also, maybe these people are only pretending to sleep, and they are fully awake, but they feel some sort of impulse to push the propaganda anyhow.

Russians use this tactic of flooding the 'net with miriads of obvious crude fakes to make you think that everything else is fake too. They employed the same tactic with MH-17 crash: fabricated at least 5 different "versions" from "it was Ukie missile" to "look at this sattelite picture of Ukie Mig-29 shooting a rocket at MH-17" where the Mig is literally 3 miles long.

It's our media that lies to us CONSTANTLY yet you continue to believe it.

People like you, you're just lost. You demonstrate over and over and over you simply cannot learn to ignore liars.

After 2 years of lies about the coof, you're right back to defending the US media complex and are puking out "it's Russian Bots!" - after the media has been lying about them for 5 years.

You're hopeless.

I doubt Russia does this. Every time our faggots at CNN screamed "its russian disinformation" it at the end EVERY TIME turned out to be American, every time. It's been so many times man, I stopped counting long ago. It's probably ours. They filter Russian information out from the web, you can't really find it. But our deep state American propaganda oozes from every corner. Just look at all the swamp faggots who played a revolution to kick Trump out? That took a lot of coordinated effort and propaganda.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/death-of-russian-generals-in-ukraine-expose-vulnerabilities-in-moscows-military-tactics-11647441273?source=patrick.net

I remember when generals were much safer than regular infantry (proportionally speaking).

"The deaths of Gen. Vitaly Gerasimov, Gen. Andrei Kolesnikov, Gen. Oleg Mityaev and Gen. Andrei Sukhovetsky were announced by Ukrainian officials and confirmed by some Russian media reports, but not the Kremlin."

Yesterday, they destroyed the command post of the 35th Army of the Eastern Military District. It's a cluster of high-rank officers. I'd expect that the number is going to jump once the final (pun intended) book-counting is done but we'll see, it'd require confirmation from the Russians.
36   clambo   2022 Mar 17, 6:26pm

“70% of Russians support the war.”
They are only able to see and hear Putin approved “news.”
The opinion of the Russian population is irrelevant because they don’t want to go fight either, the soldiers in Ukraine are 80% conscripts.
Even generals are not safe in Ukraine.

To be clear: 4 is the number that Russian sources (not the Kremlin) confirmed.

It would be fun to pretend that ratio of killed generals is statistically similar to the number of their killed subordinates, ratio-wise. Given that the lowest general rank (general-major) is in command of approximately 15,000 heads, that would put the number of losses at about 60,000. Not even Ukrainian propaganda claims that. From which I imply that either Russian forces are "top-heavy", or Ukrainians do amazingly good job weeding out top of the iceberg, and creating this statistical bias. If you are a general in Russian military, and you've been called to "liberate" Ukraine, you should have your will ready.

They "debunk" an obviously fake video they themselves planted. The goal is to imply and make you believe that all video evidence of destruction of civilian infrastructure in Ukraine is fake. Propaganda 101.
