Has anybody purchased I bonds? What are the pros and cons of this? Thank you.

My son is pushing me hard on IBonds. It's kinda like free money while Inflation Rates are high. I just don't have the patience to manage them.

I used to buy I series savings bonds online using my Discover Card. I would get 1% back for the purchase.
The government stopped allowing the purchase of bonds using credit cards.
I series savings bonds are a decent investment.

We are in the process of purchasing for the whole family. My only regret is that we did not do last year as well as it seems a good place to park an emergency fund.

A wildcard exemption allows you to exempt any property of your choosing. Ohio's wildcard exemption will cover up to $1,325. (Ohio Rev. Code Ann. 2329.66(A)(18).) Learn how to add a wildcard to another exemption and protect even more.
