What's the point of exporting if you can't buy the stuff you don't produce? Which is everything except oil, gas and some shitty food. Exporters bring in $$, forced to sell 100% of it to the govt for unrealistic exchange rate, get a fistful of rubble and then what? Go buy some more oil, raw materials and food for themselves? LOL.
If this is sooooo good and beneficial, why the fuck didn't they do it from the get go? In 2021? Or 2011? Or 2001? They had that mighty pedo Vlad at helm all along.
