One of my friends just had kids, I'm pushing pretty hard for him to get the fuck out of here. He's a good guy, and I don't want to see his kids get fucked up here.

Silly Con Valley was NEVER a really good place to raise kids, but today it's toxic to them.

This was a super cool place back in the 1990s and early 2000's. Everything we built though is being turned against the ENTIRE population, including us. The good news is, now that we built it once, it's a LOT easier to rebuild it.

You have normies that just stick to the "big 3 of tech", they're lost - you can't help them. I'm seeing alternatives to sites that are growing massively because they don't engage in censorship, open communication is allowed, and there's been a LOT of people removed for political statements who won't shut up, ever. During covid, right as covidian tyranny and jab mandates started, a manager where I work ditched his sillycon valley tech manager job to take his large family to Arkansas. He was seemingly very motivated at work up to this point, and so I assume really liked his job. His boss forbade him moving because being remote wasn't a good fit for his position, but he just left, and then went and found another job soon after.

I really respected him for doing that - he didn't let anyone mess with whats best for his family.
