I had the thought at the time that it was a "War of the Worlds" scenario, but going the other way, where the aliens infect us with their germs. But I admit that's crazy.

UFOs exist, but just as unidentified flying objects - they are all terrestrial in origin. The only way I could think of them being extra-terrestrial is if the human race reached a technical peak, colonized parts of the solar system, and a calamity happened bringing Earth back to a stone age, and the people off Earth are now cautiously looking in.

Bigfoot is silly I think. In today's world it's easy to setup a camera and just wait for thermal imaging to trigger it.

I've seen UFO's twice, they aren't inconclusive to me, and open the Pandora's box of alien intelligence intervening on our planet. However, there is also massive circumstantial evidence to that effect. The hiders of history have also seen fit to cover up such phenomenon as human or humanoid giants in the past. Lots of skeletons have been destroyed, or tucked away in museum basements, in spite of photographic evidence from the past that they existed up through the 19th century in parts of the world. Some of that may be due to religious fundamentalism, but who knows what the history twisters have been up to.
50 percent of the Indian population hid from the enslaving Spaniards in California for a long time, so I suppose a few Bigfoots could elude human beings for survival.
