Why didn't Trump pardon Snowdon and Assange?
Would create too many political enemies. This was stupidity on his part, they were already enemies at the time and he wanted to be "friends". That will never happen.
He had nothing to lose by pardoning them, and he didn't realize this, is my opinion.

Mexico’s leftist President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) has publicly humiliated Democrat President Joe Biden.
During a press conference, AMLO decried Biden over the Democrats’ efforts to indict President Donald Trump.
He said Biden can no longer lecture other countries about democracy if Trump is arrested.
“Right now, former President Trump is declaring that they are going to arrest him,” the Mexican leader said.
“If that were the case, it would be so that his name doesn’t appear on the ballot.
“I say this because I too have suffered from the fabrication of a crime when they didn’t want me to run.
“And this is completely anti-democratic.
“Why not allow the people to decide?”
He also called out Biden specifically, saying the United States cannot talk about human rights with Julian Assange detained, cartel violence with Biden bombing the Nord Stream pipeline, or democracy while arresting the leading presidential candidate Donald Trump.

This is one of Trump's failings as well. He should have pardoned both Assange and Snowden.
