I think map is from this Russian Telegram channel: https://t.me/s/rybar

There is nothing about starting "this" or "that" in accompanying Russian text. Just a rather frank description of situation on ground in Ukraine. Overall, this is a decent source of information if ideology is omitted.

Well, they are blabbing about tactical nuclear weapons, but then again, Russian Army performance has been shit, though you include the likelihood of large numbers of hit and run ATGM team mercenaries from Western Nations.
6   WookieMan   2022 Oct 7, 8:21am

I'm with PeopleUnited's map. Russia cannot even take over its neighbor with ground forces, air superiority and nukes. Why the fuck is this even a thing? So Europe freezes. Fuck them. What has Europe done for the USA? Name anything besides trading with us. They fucking suck at life. Hell, VW flat out lied about selling cars to US citizens that were flat out lies as far as efficiency. I don't trust Europeans. They're on the Chinese level, let's put it that way. The term Eurotrash didn't come out of nowhere.

Yep. Let's return Ukes their nukes and let them deal with Ivan themselves.

Amazingly accurate prediction: the party did begin right on cue.

With predictive powers like this you must be killing it on the stock market!

I don't have a pony in this race, but I'll keep saying it. Russia looks weak.

What I don't like is this is escalating. We've seen with supply line issue with covid and what it can do. If the bridge is down for a month it could take while to get the situation normal without asking Ukraine for help. Don't know the region at all, but I'm surprised this bridge wasn't attacked earlier if it was already built. I suppose though there are still Ukrainians in Crimea so that could have domestic backlash.

What I've never looked up is Putin's height. He's a fucking baby man. Napoleon 2.0... hell shorter and that's when men were generally shorter anyway. 5'3" if that. That scares me more than anything. Short dudes are insecure as fuck. Leads to irrational behavior.

Also, that bridge looks like pure shit construction as well. We've had our share of bridge issues in the US, but usually it's because they're 50 years plus old. That thing looks like it was built in the 60's but is only 4 years old....

So, just to be clear from how the rest of the world views this.

Intentionally attacking infrastructure is against the rules of war. Ukraine violated this rule. Hence, Russia is now free to destroy Ukraine's infrastructure.

Nothing good will come from this.

No, Russia made sure not to target infrastructure. It had military targets. Hence, the power is still on in Kiev. Any civilian deaths were also incidental.

Somebody is still believing in the omnipotent Russian military? Living under a rock for 8 months might do it for you....

PS. Kyiv is covered with best IADS Ukraine could muster. The power is still on because Pukin can't do anything about it.

It's allowed our government to run rogue for the last 22 years. That's what they've done. That's what the European GOVERNMENTS have done.

I think Europe is run by a bunch of traitors with citizens as the victims. Same as my nation.

That's during its construction. It's not completed in that picture. They built it in less than 4 years and started 2 years after Crimea became part of Russia again. It's more symbollic than necessary.

Russia knew that the defenders were going to use the city's buildings as a defense against its forces. That is why Russia allowed civilians a secure passage out of the city before commencing attacks. It is not Russia that caused the losses it was the Ukrainian forces hiding in the city that caused the destruction. Russia would have preferred the Ukrainians to come out of the city to fight, but the Ukrainians demurred.

Overall, Russia has been following the rules of war quite well. There have been incidents of war crimes by individual Russian soldiers, bur nothing ordered from the top.

Mariupol was under Ukraine from 2014 to March or April of 2022.

All you did was say I was ignorant, and you never identified how I was incorrect.

Insults mean nothing. If you can't explain how I'm wrong, and you're correct, it just means you're wrong, and you're pissed off I'm pointing out you're wrong.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariupol#2014_fighting

It takes SECONDS to look stuff up today. Wikipedia won't connect the pieces, and when they lie, they lie in favor of our guberment. It's just about effortless to know what is going on today, if you want to know what is going on today. It's been attacked since 2014, since the "Revolution of Dignity" which was previously "the Maidan Revolution" which was really the US coup.

Propagandists keep fucking up in their tangled web of lies, so they keep changing terms. This is why the Mujahideen is now known as the Taliban. It's why it's Kyiv instead of Kiev. That's how you know they are lying, they will do everything to confuse you. Vaccinations no longer prevent illnesses, pandemics now include the flu and the cold. What gets me, is you still are reluctant to question them.

Just question them. You're not stupid for being fooled, but don't think I'm stupid for NOT being fooled. I'm used to this game, and sick of it.

When the government starts changing terms, they only do this to lie to you. Where did the "moderate rebels" come from in Syria? Who ever heard of the White Helmets before? Our government called them the Syrian Defense Forces for a bit, but Syria already had this. Remember ISIS? Now it's ISIL. It's constant shifting and changing of the game, and it's constant and annoying.

Instead of slinking around the city, they could have surrendered at any point. They chose to fight in the city.

No, I do not:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mariupol#2014_fighting

Already pointed it out. Got to go into history with anything that is a target of US propaganda too:

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mariupol&oldid=749114782#Current_conflict

Notice how the terms change. It was the "Ukrainian revolution" back then.

Here's another thing to notice. Go the history page on Mariupol today:

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mariupol&action=history

Notice how many updates there are in this year. Same thing happened with Jeffrey Epstein and Bill Clinton. Wikipedia is totally infiltrated, but they don't (yet) delete history - not yet, but they will.

Yes, there is. Hence, Biden exclaiming at the start of hostilities that Putin was a "WAR CRIMINAL" had a certain meaning. Biden has since stopped that hyperbole, and even the Western press has stopped calling for a war crimes trial against Putin. The US has even refrained from calling Russia a sponsor of State terrorism (the ones in charge told Zelensky to go pound sand on that one).

No there isn't. There's no rules to war or war criminals.

If there were, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Mitt Romney, John McCain, John Kerry and a whole lot of other people would be dead. They would have been executed.

Julian Assange is going to die in prison because he demonstrated there are no war crimes that punished.

We're run by a criminal syndicate, not a government.
