People are legitimately surprised that the Islamic Middle East would ban a Pixar movie featuring a lesbian kiss 😆

So Disney's new Pixar movie is gay – like, super gay – and people are SHOCKED to find out that Islamic nations don't want to showcase its gayness.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek Gets New Long-Term Contract
https://deadline.com/2022/06/disneys-ceo-bob-chapek-gets-new-long-term-contract-1235053685/

Disney CEO Bob Chapek has gotten a new long-term contract as the board meets this week. Directors voted unanimously to replace his current deal, which expires in February 2023, with a new three-year agreement starting July 1.

“Disney was dealt a tough hand by the pandemic, yet with Bob at the helm, our businesses — from parks to streaming — not only weathered the storm but emerged in a position of strength,” said Susan Arnold, Chairman of the Board. “In this important time of growth and transformation, the Board is committed to keeping Disney on the successful path it is on today, and Bob’s leadership is key to achieving that goal. Bob is the right leader at the right time for The Walt Disney Company, and the Board has full confidence in him and his leadership team,” the board said.

...

Why do they keep him? This worries me, because I would think the board would want to reverse away from wokeness. But extending the ceo's contract signifies they like the current path. Maybe the board just stays the course so long as they keep getting to "inspect special backstage footage of disney child stars"

I've had enough with "Lightyears". I wasn't quite prepared to discuss with kids same-sex marriage on that day, but Disney made that choice for me.
Fuck them.

The shirt is over-the-top:

Because it's common for transsexuals to advertise what they are when they are out shopping. If he wasn't wearing a shirt with these colors on it:

Nobody would have thought anything about it.

Doomcock is still getting told that Chapek, who just got a 3-year renewal, got permission from the Disney Board to do a mass purge after the disappointing Lightyear performance.

They were holding him back from the purge (he already clamped the fuck down on Tweets from the Kreative Klass, and appointed a whip of an old school financial exec - a woman whose name I forgot - in charge of the Movie franchises last year). Now the Board is scared shitless from going from 78% approval to 35% in just months, scared shitless of the blowback both political and customer side (families underperformed with Lightyear and of course Male Fans of Action/Star Wars Franchises are bleeding like a Gaul that just got struck in the Thighs with a Legionary's Gladius), and desperate for money.

Apparently the sticking point is PIXAR, which is based in California and full of LA SJWs, and they were fearful of losing talent. Apparently they didn't want to risk the purge until it was unavoidable.

The Kreative Klass SJWs at Pixar are pushing even more Wokey Dokey and the leak may have been Chapek's 4D Chess to scare the shit out of the Board to get them to back him to the hilt.

Here's Doomcock's sources reporting on this:

https://slaynews.com/news/elon-musk-puts-disney-on-notice-backs-move-to-end-companys-exclusive-rights-to-mickey-mouse-its-time/

Disney could soon lose the exclusive rights the company holds for some of its most famous characters, including the iconic Mouse that serves as the company’s mascot.

Mickey Mouse will eventually enter the public domain in the year 2024, almost 95 years after his creation in October 1928.

The Walt Disney Company has a long history of getting favorable treatment from lawmakers when it comes to copyright law.

But Disney’s recent political attacks mean its support may be coming to an end.

In April, Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis stripped the company of its special self-governing privilages in the state.

The following month, Republican Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) threatened to target Disney’s hold over its copyrights.

Copyrights should last exactly 20 years, just like patents.

Disney has repeatedly corrupted lawmakers just to get its copyright on Micky Mouse extended forever.

If disclaimers were honest, this one would be the one for Disney.

I think the majority of Disney subscribers come from free one year subscription attached to other devices.

Disney+ is a freebee with the top Verizon unlimited plans.

There's about 100 million customers on Verizon's Unlimited plans.

Disney can report its subscribers, but it is really how many new Unlimited customers Verizon gets. It doesn't really say how much Disney is paying Verizon for these customers.

In the old days, I bet they would have had a hard time finding a male who would wear the Minnie Mouse costume, even when you cannot see who is in it.

I kind of doubt that.
