They are stupid. What is frustrating is that 1st world societies always, ALWAYS lead to a decline in birth rates.
I hate to tell you this, but the main reason people have children is because children are regarded as an asset, not a liability. Children are expected to help the elderly in old age, and that's the biological reason people have them. In a first world developed nation, children are regarded as a liability.
I used to have the Malthusian viewpoint, but it's wrong. The problem we DO have is the most wretched among us do have children as it's an asset to them. Single mothers get larger amounts of welfare when they have more children. We are dividing up into a two tiered species, slowly.
We are at war with an elite who have decided that there are way too many people on this planet and the best way to preserve what is left of "their" resources is to have a great reset that will eliminate 90% of humanity through global vaccination and birth control.
