It has been said that all of the wasted motion around court proceedings, civil liberty lawyers clogging up the prison and legal system, dizzy groupies throwing sopping wet panties at lethal jailed psychopaths, daft summons for mercy, parole board hearings, etc. etc. take up so much time and expense that it may be just as economical to keep them in prison for the rest of their days rather than giving them an ongoing expensive soap box at civil and government expense.

That doesn't mean that I approve of what she did. Executions should be quite rapid after sentencing rather than these drawn out death row dramaturgies.

There's always multiple reasons for a war.

One bit of it is that Putin started kicking out Jewish oligarchs from Russia when he took power. If you recall, there were plenty in the 2000's being pictured in cages in court. These criminals, like many of our Jewish criminals, are directly supported by Israel. Neocons are mostly Zionists, and they want revenge, and they want to get back into Russia. That's THEIR angle on this.

Congress is just a bunch of whores. They are using Ukraine for money laundering, they don't really care about anything beyond that.

There may be a larger geopolitical aim at this as well. If the US can control Russia, or isolate it, then they have Europe needing the US to provide energy to them from the Middle East, that would (in part) explain a lot of our dumb ass wars there for the last 2 decades.

There's probably a whole lot of other reasons I'm missing as well but those are 3 possible reasons I've heard many people speculate on.
