Las Vegas, NV - Officials in Las Vegas say a student died after he unexpectedly suffered cardiac arrest while at school. According to a post from Amplus Academy, the student was identified as senior Jordan Brister. A GoFundMe shared by the school said Brister “suddenly and unexpectedly suffered cardiac arrest while at school with no explanation as to why.” According to the school, staff “provided Jordan with emergency medical attention until paramedics arrived and transported him to Southern Hills Hospital.” Amplus Academy’s statement continued by saying, “despite the efforts of first responders and the medical team at the hospital, Jordan passed away this past Sunday.” The GoFundMe said Jordan Brister had planned on joining the military after graduating.

Special Victim Bureau Detective Steven J. Lim, a 26-year-veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, died after suffering a medical emergency while driving home from work just after 10 p.m. Sunday January 15, 2023. Sheriff's officials said in a news release that he was involved in a “single vehicle traffic collision." No other vehicles or motorists were involved. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

Authorities did not release a preliminary cause of death, nor the reason for her incarceration.

Any person in the medical field is prone to other issues. One of the groomsmen in my wedding had a nurse wife popping pills behind his back and the hospitals. She got fired and had to enter rehab on court order. I'd venture to guess each pill she was taking was probably doing 10 shots worth of vodka to her liver. Could be the jab or a combination of having access to potent pills and the jab. She's clean now so that's good.

I don't trust big pharma at all. The only pill I've popped in the last decade was recent and it was Dramamine for sea sickness. All my medical field friends just throw pills at everything. They seem sick all the time. Doesn't seem to be a solid strategy. But what do I know, I didn't spend $100k plus to be a doctor, pharmacist or nurse, so I'm a dumb cave man.

I guess the room temperature IQs win this round. Truth be told, though, he had a liver transplant in the earl 90's, which lasted him nearly 30 years. I remember people who knew him before the transplant, when he was near broke and crashing in people's homes for a time. They said he looked terrible. It's amazing he lived this long.

I don't filter out anything, but I leave YouTube links as plain links and don't transform those links into embedded videos because YouTube does not work with the plain video tag, but requires an invasive iframe, which means a Google web page inserted onto patrick.net, with all the tracking horror that entails. I'm also annoyed that all other video services seem to be blacklisted by search engines. I still never see any Rumble videos show up as the result of a search, for example.

I spoke with a friend of mine yesterday that told me about his 'fully vaxxed' brother in law that just died 'suddenly' from a heart attack. He said that he was an 'amazing middle aged athlete' that played tennis practically every day. Yet, with no warning, and no history at all of heart disease, he just dropped dead.

Is it just me, or have all these 'anecdotal' deaths quadrupled over a few months ago?
