I was looking for the source of this article. I searched using Google, I couldn't find it. But I found more information about this topic using Yandex! Interesting, eh?

This is like when Entryist "Muh Mustache Socialist was better than the other Mustache Socialist, he killed a few million less." types put up a "screenshot" of a news article written by some ridiculous named person named "Schlomo Shecklestein-Goldberg" and when you look for the article by author or headline, you get nothing. Then you image search and nothing but links to the pic on 4chan or stormfront.

I don't know but there are many other folks who speak of similar sentiments. I am new to this information. I find it interesting and consider it to be potentially real.

Yandex, https://www.yandex.com/ - is a FAR better search engine than Google is today. Google USED to be better, but Yandex today, I'd judge is about 2003 Google, which was still better than 2023 Google. Google is an unusable, worthless search engine and the only reason you haven't noticed, if you don't use real search engines, and you don't look up real stuff.

I know they are Russian - so what? It's (currently) one of the best search engines out there. They might very well censor a bunch of stuff on Russia (I don't know enough about it to tell) but they don't censor shit on Europe or the United States. I find Yandex image search to be fantastic.

I do forget to use them for controversial stuff, like Masks not working.

Yes, I do feel that the US is following Russia's path from the 1980's. The corruption is getting to be too obvious to everyone. And we have indeed stupidly allowed the federal government to take over most things, with all the horror that centralization inevitably causes.

I think Yandex is better than Google because Yandex is Russian. They really don't feel the need to censor the same things Google does. Other things perhaps, but not the things our own oligarchs want suppressed.

Give Yandex a try. If you are getting too many Russian results to your liking, append "&lang=en" to the URL. I.E. https://yandex.com/search/?text=dog&lang=en - to search for "dog".
