Israel has lots of IDF soldiers on the border of the Gaza Strip. Israel also happens to have probably the best intelligence services in the entire world.

In numerous places throughout the Old Testament, over and over again, the requirement for obtaining the land was repentance and turning back to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
