Back in the earliest days of what would become PatNet, we worried about the housing bubble.
Full disclosure - I was a lurker here since about 2007. It convinced me to not buy a house, and I'm still renting. Kept my powder dry and I've got the liquid asset stockpile - not enough yet, but I was a late starter.
Now, we have more things to worry about:
WWIII Demographic collapse Golohomoho
How many of you ever even imagined it would potentially get this bad?
Thanks @Patick - the contrarian route is the road least traveled, and potentially more difficult. My most contrarian bets have fortunately reaped the most rewards. The Fourth Turning is upon us. Let's hope we and our families are all safe and prepared.
I was once chastised by Patrick, for being too confrontational concluding every debate with the Patnet Liberals by calling them commies. I don't think he would have sent that email today in context to the same discussions.

I'll bitch. I'll moan.
No WWIII in which we're involved in. It's already happening currently, just hasn't been labeled that way.
Not sure your age, but 25-35 year olds are popping out kids like it's Halloween candy.
The homo thing is just that, gay. We're de-globalizing currently. If anything that's good for the US.
I'm generally pessimistic. There are bad things for sure, but we're pretty damn good. Harris will 100% lose. While Trump isn't the best he knows business and will be better for Americans.
I think it's more than the next 4 years. I think we have a decade of growth. Won't be smooth. We have about 4-5 months of a dumpster fire coming up and another 6 months to put it out. Basically a year from now. This is why the House and Senate are most important. Clarence Thomas is nearing death years as well. He should retire and lock in a 20-30 year Justice if R's have the House and Senate.
Way too far in advance, but I don't think Republicans can lose 2028. I think the Democratic party is collapsing with Biden, Obama and Clintons hitting retirement age. I think they're just done. They don't have a torch bearer.
