I did vote in person.
I walked in and put my paper ballot in the box.
This time, I said let's take the mail ballots to the drop box at city hall. At least we stood a chance of them being counted. Probably miscounted and misattributed, but at least counted.
It looked like you said early in October. Never vote early.
Also, they don't scan your ballot? We have electronic and a paper backup at my polling place. I'm also just not dropping it in a box without it being scanned.
Good Morning Patrick,
Thank you for your email inquiry regarding the status of your ballot.
We have received, verified, and counted your ballot on 11/5/2024.
We are still in the process of reviewing and verifying the high volume of ballots that we had received on Election Day.
Thank you for checking with us directly.
Sincerely,

They scan your ballot in front of you?
Yup, California's law prohibiting asking for any kind of ID is just an open invitation to massive fraud.
It's all sketch.
Forget about it Jake, it's Chinatown.
Yeah, makes me wonder how many ballots "were not counted" or "lost" in California and if there were enough to make it a competitive state instead of solid Democrat state, and more importantly, I'm thinking about the Congressional races still not decided.

The window for them to even be received is open till Nov 15th. And then there is another deadline for counting them. So you need to wait for all these deadlines to pass before starting to wonder how many were "lost".
My wife's ballot was received, but mine was not, even though I dropped it into the box right next to the election official.
WTF?
