FEMA ‘horrified’ after confirming workers directed to ‘avoid homes’ with Trump signs in hurricane-ravaged Florida community

A Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) supervisor told disaster relief workers in Florida to “avoid homes” with signs supporting President-elect Donald Trump, the agency confirmed Friday.

The FEMA official — Marn’i Washington — conveyed her edict both verbally and in a Microsoft Teams chat used by relief workers canvassing Lake Placid homes ravaged by Hurricane Milton last month, according to the Daily Wire.

“Avoid homes advertising Trump,” Washington wrote in a “best practices” memo to employees.

The order was the second bullet point in a list instructing workers to not go “anywhere alone,” practice “de-escalation,” stay hydrated and to “follow the rules.”

Maybe because they are more likely to be armed and can protect themselves. Curse, or blessing? LOL!

Frequent reports that homes aren't invaded by FEMA to help but to search and seize. There are even allegations that the disasters are used to cover up selected murders and hits in the affected areas while comms are down, as well as the usual document destructions if the place is to be taken over. Destruction of legal case work and records are a common theme in the Illuminati generated disasters, part of their multi tasking as in the Oklahoma bombing and 9/11.

FEMA disaster relief manager Marn’i Washington (if that is her real name), actually put her disgusting “best practices” instructions in writing. It was in a chat message to her Hurricane Helene FEMA emergency relief team members. Marn’i instructed them to, and I quote, “avoid homes advertising Trump.”

At the time, Marn’i probably thought that was super clever. It wasn’t even a good joke.

Some FEMA staff weren’t as stoked as Marn’i. They followed orders, but slyly slid notes in their online reports about skipping storm-damaged houses with explanations like: “Trump sign no entry per leadership.”

Per leadership. In other words, “under duress.” She made us do it.

Proving FEMA can move fast, when its own butt needs rescue, within 24 hours a FEMA spokesman quickly told the Daily Wire that Marn’i had been “removed from their role,” whatever that means, and FEMA was investigating to cover up, I mean recover from, the ghastly breach of protocol...

Outrage on social media understandably focused on the whole weaponization of the federal government angle. But there are some brighter spots the current discussion might be missing.

First, Marn’i was fairly quickly outed by what appear to have been multiple whistleblowers. Not only did someone at FEMA leak that internal chat to the conservative Daily Wire, but several FEMA staff intentionally recorded the evidence of avoiding Trump supporters in their computer system — so that FEMA couldn’t later claim it was just a joke or something.

Second, President Trump has long said he plans to prune many partisan activists out of the federal government. This story provides clear evidence that pruning is urgently needed, and disproves the media’s argument that “federal employees are completely apolitical.”

Third, the Daily Wire broke the story. Corporate media is becoming increasingly redundant, like an infected vestigial organ, and with any luck can be surgically excised soon, and then we’ll start feeling better.

See, they CAN fire government workers.

What they really mean by "government workers are unfireable" is 'we can't fire them w/o being sued'. <-- but that is what the DoJ is for.

Does "fired" mean discharged from FEMA with no more pay? Or just removed from one position and assigned to another position as in a lateral transfer?

Probably discharged. The government actually takes blatant unfairness and violations of protected classes including direct politics very very seriously. And you can terminate immediately depending on the employees status. If someone is hired as an exempt from civil service status employee, they are at will. And the federal government employee unions are pathetic and ineffective anyway. Honestly don’t know why they even exist.

She might be able to get another federal job. But if officially fired from an agency you cannot work for it again is my understanding. I mean I lived it with the post office, though I was fired for medical issues that I couldn't get clearance to drive. I can't work for USPS again. I could work for the DEA or any of the other dozens of agencies, just not USPS.

Either way I'm still thrilled I got the life insurance. Federal life insurance is insanely cheap for the coverage and I can keep it for life.

Its not very easy to fire a federal civil servant, so I would venture to guess she was moved to another position but not removed from federal civil service. I assume she was a federal civil servant and not a contractor.

However, the NY Post did quote the FEMA administrator stating she was fired: "“This is a clear violation of FEMA’s core values and principles to help people regardless of their political affiliation,” she said, adding, “This employee has been terminated and we have referred the matter to the Office of Special Counsel."

Defund FEMA completely; let the states solve their own "disaster problems."
