Republicans are mostly rational and reserved. If Trump isn't POTUS this time around with a popular vote, people will die. I don't think it will get to that level. Trump technically as President elect could probably negotiate deals to avoid WWIII. I think we're already into it anyway though. We just don't have boots on the ground, but N. Korea sent troops to the Ukraine front. Israel is fighting in Gaza, Lebanon and with Iran who is allied with Russia. NATO countries are funding Ukraine and likely sending mercenaries. I mean, this is already a world war if you think about it.
