I know other southern states are very red and black, but the blacks in Georgia, specifically Atlanta are urban blacks who are liberals and are different from the rural ones who aren't as liberal. Plus, there is all the people who moved to Georgia over the last few years to work in the film industry, and those people are liberals mostly from California. I'm also not convinced that the republican candidates who make it through the primaries are the best choices (as in they don't have the right people running). And yes, one of them was my best friend in elementary school.
