When my son was little he didn't like to read - but in line at the supermarket one day, he read a headline in the wwn and opened the paper to read the article. He was 9 years old at the time.

I was thrilled that he felt inspired to read ANYTHING, so I dutifully purchased a copy every week, and actually read it myself so that we would have something to discuss at dinner. This went on over a year - and I'm proud to say that my son is now a professional who reads as part of his profession.

It was worth every damn minute I spent reading that rag.
