this post allows one and all to see how a snow day can shred away at Ellie’s mental health.
In order to graduate college, one of my final papers involved writing a 10 page paper on a 3 stanza poem. You'd be amazed at what you can write about when your diploma is on the line.
In this case, it was bad teevee combined with a glass of wine that allowed for this drivel. I'd like to thank Truthplease for providing the basis for the nonsense I posted.
I never understood the academic thinking that a paper has to contain so many words to be valid. It seems as assine as the web site thinking that a posting should only contain 500 or fewer characters to be worth reading.
Use as many words as it takes to convey a message and no more.

I wrote my way through college because of such asinine requirements. My best "sale" was one paper, two students, same professor same day. I changed the cover sheet, nothing more - and one received a "B" while the other received an "A." This was in the days before the interwebs were readily available. I had a job as long as there were assignments that had no meaning other than to waste time and energy.
My favorite thing to do was to write papers that contained every requirement, but in the minimum number of words that they'd allow. I'm the first to admit that I'm a word dork.
