The Rubber hasn't hit the road yet.
There still isn't a government option in the works, and as it stands now, the only option is large heavily invested (For profit) entities that have inflated premiums like a super nova exploding. IN the coming months I fully expect premiums to rise as much as 15% more before the elections.
Just wait until 2014 when companies will find it cheaper to dump all of their employees and just pay the small fine, or not if your a favorite pet of Obama like McDonalds, and place the impetus on the employee to be ripped apart by the insurance wolves.
I expect the return of a large percent of the Tax base to return to working under the table. A situation that Clinton and Bush rectified in the late 90s' through early 2000's, and was in part responsible for the surplus Bush enjoyed to squander.
Many workers and businesses will be Cash only.
thousands of people who would die if Obamacare was struck down.
Where are the dead bodies stored that died pre Obamacare?
Rogers may be a "nice man" but he just voted to shred the U.S. Constitution and give the federal government unlimited power under whatever flimsy pretence those in power can come up with.
I love it when a good prediction of mine comes true. I placed all of my faith in Chief Justice Roberts and he "came through." When he was being confirmed, Senator Diane Feinstein questioned him for two hours. She was very polite and professional. She did not badger or intimidate him. At the end of the process she did something amazing. She more or less said to him: "You're a very nice man and I'm going to vote for you." Under all of his conservative mantle, Roberts is a nice man. When he wrote his opinion he thought about all of those thousands of people who would die if Obamacare was struck down. This is a wonderful day for our country!
