In all fairness, according to PBS Frontline, Larry Summers wanted to take on and break up at least one of the “too big to fail’ banks.... It would have been a bold step for Obama, but Tim Geithner warned the president against it. He wasn’t going to participate in what he called “Old Testament justice.â€.
