The first amendment only applies to government actions. This is a private forum with no government affiliation (that I know of), so freedom of speech doesn't apply.
Good! I was about to say something. The said individual is downright scary. I am glad he is deleted.
He was either some kind of a joke, or we should all feel sorry for him.
One interesting phenomenon of ego that I always wonder about...
Why is it that some people, with obvious cognitive challenges, can't find a moderate, but extremely intelligent person, to rely on when "finding the truth" regrading various bizarre theories ?
I don't mean this as an attack at all.
Some people with say average to below average intelligence, at least have the common sense to find people they really respect for their intelligence and to follow their lead on such questions, because of their credibility and trustworthiness.
There is that phenomenon in some circles, where any opinion is equally as valid as any other, regardless of the facts or the credibility of the source.
Nobody should be so dominated by their emotions that they can't see through this. Even if they are borderline retarded.
I can't figure out those kinda folks. Are they really that blind or just like being crazy? How on earth do they think they are going to attract people to the right?
I totally agree with your decision, Patrick. I had put him on ignore because of that post. Very poor taste
BobH is the type of person that marginalizes valid criticisms of Obama. His hate takes away from a real debate we should be having about the many broken promises of Obama administration: transparency, end of wars, Gitmo, etc.
I'm afraid you may have inadvertently removed his only connection to reality though.
There should be ZERO tolerance against people like BobH. The titles of his threads were so outrageous that I was afraid to click on them.
One suggestion: a "flag for attention" link
Posters like him must be censored earlier rather than later.
I agree that we don't need posts like his on the site. It's one thing to criticize the president and quite another to relentlessly attack and threaten violence, revolution, and anarchy as the only response to policies of the man in charge of the country. I don't care for some of the mans decisions, and he worries me with his far left leaning. I also don't want to see gun control as a matter of principle: we've lost too many freedoms already under this POTUS (habeus corpus, freedom of assembly, right to protest, right to be secure in your person at the airport, and others), there's no way I'd be okay with losing that one too.
I'll never agree with him on the freedoms issue.
But certain things I have liked and nodded along with. Discontinuing the Bush program of Mexican truckers taking over transportation of goods. Putting protective tariffs on steel and tires. And maintaining dignity in the office he holds. It counts that he isn't cheating on his wife, that he's raising a family, and that both he and his new Secretary of State have been to my church.
A little respect is not too much to ask.

Obama has superseded every "Rights Chiseling" president we ever had in the last 30 years. He's blown past Regan, HW Bush and GW Bush, of which all of those President's terms. The phrase "Chiseling away at our rights and freedom" was an occurring theme.
Those other presidents set precedence by creating agencies, but they were put on quazi short leashes in their reach of authority or power when it came to law abiding citizens. Obama has gone way and beyond they ever did. What fucks me up the most is, the very same people that often said those previous presidents were "Chiseling away at our rights" are the very ones that now have a man crush on Obama. Oh and long live Obama.

This is Patrick's world. He has the right to grant and/or revoke "free speech" as he chooses.
Oh and long live Obama.
lol
while signing the NDAA into law
NO NO NO
NO NO NO
Dude, did he sign the bill or not? Stop with the semantics. I am sure Bush didn't want to kill all those children in Iraq either. Yet we continue to kill innocent children with drone strikes, but somehow Obama doesn't really want that to happen, it's just that he can't fight his administration and the military-industrial complex, otherwise he is a really nice guy.

Should you be joining Bobh mell,?
You don't listen and you don't care to listen. Is someone in HATE with OBAMA like Bobh?
I don't see any difference to your unshattered love for Obama and hate for the Republicans, he/she just stood on the opposite side and happened to make remarks that got him/her deleted.
He is close to a centrist but actually a right of center democrat
And that's the problem, more of the same. I don't see why you polarize so much, the differences are actually tiny.
I love you, Karl.

Why do you translate someone disagreeing with a policy decision as 'hate'??

I thought BobH was the more relaxed type considering the amount of insults some posters put into the forum. Had to put some folks on ignore even, and I don't really do that.

Yeah, true. There are also other who have posted entirely moral, socially, and ethically depraved comments, and because those comments did not directly advocate for violence they have been allowed to continue posting.
BobH, on the other hand, started a thread fantasizing/advocating the assassination of the President of the United States of America. Similar to Shrek who put out a call to murder Americans who had political opinions that were not Shrek approved.

I don't think he was doing that, he was just making Texas style jokes. They make those all the time, they don't act on it. And I think that is fine, but this isn't my forum so I have no say in it.
BobH was not worse than KarlRoveIsScum/121212/TheDayToday/Politifact
Anyone who advocates murder, the President of otherwise, is worse than Karl. For that matter I would say anyone who would make child molestation jokes about the kids murdered in Sandy Hook is also "worse" than Karl.
BobH was not worse than KarlRoveIsScum/121212/TheDayToday/Politifact
I put a poll up that says he was. 220 people have signed it, even Oily Taint!
I don't think he was doing that, he was just making Texas style jokes.
Sure, right here in CA I have heard one co-worker tell another that he wants to hang the other by the ankles and chop his head off. I can't say that I laughed at the "joke", but given the context it was clear that he was not serious. Putting aside the idea that whether or not murdering another person is a funny joke.
BobH gave several long winded maniacal rants in which he/she put forth several ideas about the President: illegally in office; destroying our Constitution; akin to Hitler; will enslave/mass murder Americans; will seize dictatorial power; et cetera...et cetera...et cetera...
After all that do you seriously think that BobH would not seriously advocate the murder of our President?

I don't think he liked our president, I don't think he would go around shooting. This kind of talk is normal in many parts of our nation. If someone says something like that it gets forgotten fast, on internet we tend to see same thing over and over as it is now in writing.
I don't find it a big deal personally, but it's Patricks call.

I call bullshit. I've been to Texas, and Texans are not all redneck scum like you and BobH. I didn't meet a single person there who would publicly joke about killing the president. You should speak for yourself only.
The Liberals would sigh a collective "God damn IT!"
every time G.W's plane landed safely.

Show us a link to any death threat against Bush on this forum, ever. Otherwise, shut the fuck up.
That's not a death threat.
But I do remember some colorful remarks in the old(deleted) forum when GW Bush had a shoe thrown at him in Pakistan. So I call your shut the fuck up, and raise you a "I don't have to this is a free country". You Commie Pissant!
OBAMA DID NOT ASK FOR NDAA IT WAS RAMMED DOWN HIS THROAT!!
READ THE NEWS OF THE DAY!

Is Vicente going to call you an 'Angry Bear' for screaming at strangers, by using CAPS? He did when I occasionally used CAPS. Vic is a hypocrite...
Patrick will you please put CptIdiot on mutual ignore for me, for the sake of this forum please.
Shut up you loser, I haven't even addressed you.
You know what you're a "Shit dictator" your dictation is shit.
Hmmm, maybe "make yourself invisible to another user" should be a new premium feature?
I will not stop unless you stop him.
Let's be civilized capitalists about this.
I'll start the bid.
I'll pay Patrick $100 to delete your profile. What's your bid, or are you all demand and no cheddar?
Here....let me help you then...

I'm so glad I cannot see CptIdiot anymore,
BULLSHIT!, anecdotal and has nothing to do with Obamacare and everything
to do with GREEDY BUSINESSES!!!!
are you stupid? none of what you says makes any sense.
none at all!
-------------------------------------------------
Name calling so soon in the discussion? Geez, I've must have hit a nerve..
You wail about 'Greedy Business', but fail to mention what's causing the businesses to force their hand. And what's forcing their hand is Obamacare. I know you think I'm already stupid, but you do know the Congressional Budget Office has already confirmed that 7 million workers will be pushed out of their job based insurance coverage, BECAUSE OF OBAMACARE.... NOT 'Greedy businesses'.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/inside-politics/2013/feb/5/obama-health-law-will-cost-7-million/
....."President Obama's health care law will push 7 million people out of their job-based insurance coverage — nearly twice the previous estimate, according to the latest estimates from the Congressional Budget Office released Tuesday.
CBO said that this year's tax cuts have changed the incentives for businesses and made it less attractive to pay for insurance, meaning fewer will decide to do so. Instead, they'll choose to pay a penalty to the government, totaling $13 billion in higher fees over the next decade.
But the non-partisan agency also expects fewer people to have to pay individual penalties to the IRS than it earlier projects, because of a better method for calculating incomes that found more people will be exempt.
Overall, the new health provisions are expected to cost the government $1.165 trillion over the next decade — the same as last year's projection.
With other spending cuts and tax increases called for in the health law, though, CBO still says Mr. Obama's signature achievement will reduce budget deficits in the short term.
During the health care debate Mr. Obama had said individuals would be able to keep their plans.

I urge you all ignore 121212isscum, he is a fukwit!
He will not converse with you, he will not respond to anything you say, he will not listen. You are talking to a Snot Whistle!
It's true Obamacare is not perfect, it needs more work.
Single payer option is they way to go.

WTF?! I go from being called stupid to this?? You race from 0-60 to call me stupid, and that Obamacare has NOTHING to do w/ losing the doctor you want to use, to saying Obamacare is not perfect? HAHA... Please join the circus, because i just found out that you are a clown.....
