Christianity's popularity/spread is not due to the race worshiping it, it is due to the historically dominant cultures worshiping and spreading it (often times forcibly).
It's amazing how 1st Century working class/peasant Jewish girls from Galilee dress like 16th Century European Noblewomen, nevermind the strawberry blonde hair.

LOL, not to mention that christmas SHOULD be on Jan. 7th, but by doing it on Dec. 25th kind of defeats the whole reason for redoing the calender.

Olive skin is a standard term for describing skin tone common in the Mediterranean and surrounding areas. See Cosmopolitan Magazine. The term is a beauty industry standard and has no negative connotation.
What a dumb thread. Jesus was caucasian. What the idiots on fox are arguing was whether he was a swarthy mediterranean caucasian or a light skinned northern european caucasian. Since even the earliest writers of new testament were very unlikely to have lived when Jesus lived and actually seen Jesus no one will ever know. I would bet on swarthy though.

Only a white dude would act like Jesus, who was very touchy, high strung and judgmental. You could just see the Pharisees covering their ears as he launches into yet another diatribe about why they have it wrong, and how they just don't get it.

Gods will always look like the dominant practicing demographic, so JC is white today/now. Give it a couple thousand years, and if Christianity survives, JC may be much more Eastern or Latin looking. ;)

And in Kelly's defense, it does seem likely that Jesus had blond hair and blue eyes, since that is very common in the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries. And he existed for sure, because otherwise why would they write Gospels about him if he didn't? Hmmm?
My question for the Christians would be, do you think there would be as many avid Christians in the white community had Jesus been black? Or was it necessary to expropriate a Jew and a Jewish religion and give him European features for the religion to spread?
