From the article:
""Charlie Hebdo continues its provocation," reads a headline on the front page of Jordan's establishment daily Al-Dustour."
I guess the infidels have not learnt their lesson.
Fuck You
You're such a potty mouth!
They say "You really know someone when you step on their tails" The Paris shootings really got to me. I was horrified, but not surprised.
Don't tell my wife I said 4 letter words, or else I won't get dessert.
Show muhammed bent in front of a trail of 1000 men ready to rectally punish muhammed, and then we've got something.
ah, i think i understand what happened and will try to fix it tonight.

You understand what went wrong with Strategist? I've always thought it was a botched abortion. Was I close?
You were not even close. It was an act of Allah as punishment for the Mo. cartoon. I would have expected you to know better.

Take your time. Whatever happened, happened with the right picture. :)
Hey Patrick, dont shrink it all the way. You know how much I love Mo.

Hey Samiir, you forgot to post a picture. How about a burning Koran? Don't worry, when I pee on it the fire will be out.
Piss BUH
May Allah suffer the Sport of Kings! (That's before your time, Strat, but it met with AF's wholehearted approval. Maybe he can give you a recap in his inimitable style.)
The sport of kings is horse racing. If AF has a version that can torture Allah, I would really like to know.
Isn't this a Zionist conspiracy ?Oh wait, wrong thread -for a moment I thought this was bgamall4's incoherent ramblings about Zionists being responsible for every bad thing in the world thread.
The New York Times is for sissies, wouldn't run the Cover of Charlie Hebdo themselves, they have a sissy attitude about free speech, use sissy weasel words, and are court historians.
The BBC didn't run the Danish cartoons, but at least they ran the Charlie Hebdo cover.
SJ:
You have hit the nail on the head. It is time for reformation.
Until I see equal venom applied to the terrorist element by Muslims, themselves, I will assume that hundreds of millions of people who claim that Islam is the religion of peace are merely half-hearted apologists.
I would like to see a breakdown of the number of people killed in wars of aggression over time, as started by people of religion X and perpetrated upon people of religion Y (Y=X is possible). The timeline could start maybe at year 0 BC, for lack of a better choice.
The numbers should be both absolute (millions) and relative (percentage of population), since there has been exponential growth of population and just looking at the raw numbers may be misleading.

I don't think those numbers in any accurate form can be had. There are probably countless villages that became genocidal victims that no one even knows about.
I would also add that over time technology made it easier to kill more people, which would skew the numbers.
At best, my guess is the number of deaths due to religion aggression are sharply lower in todays world.
now come on, that's counterproductive. deliberately just insulting muslims doesn't help.
but pointing out exactly what mohammed actually did according to official muslim history (example, sex with 9 year old aisha) seems like fair game.
if they are insulted by their own history, shouldn't they be questioning why they follow that religion?

They have a bizarre answer to everything. Besides, just questioning their religion can be considered blasphemy.
questioning their religion is wonderful, IMHO. i don't care if they call it blasphemy.
but muslims are human beings, and are the primary victims of islam. muslims kill each other in the name of islam more than they kill outsiders.
to end islam, first of all you have to have sympathy for muslims as human being caught in a terrible situation. all their relatives and friends believe in violent nonsense, and they have to go along. it must be really hard in their own minds to come to the realization that their own religion is so awful and makes people do awful things like in paris.
i think every car in the world should have your "je suis charlie" icon as their bumper sticker. it's incredibly forgiving and is a real expression of freedom of speech in protest to that massacre of cartoonists by muslims in the name of islam. that's constructive even if they call it blasphemy. it's the non-constructive insults that bother me, though i do understand the need to vent.
They are the Godfather of modern Liberalism why are you surprised.
Pew found that 76 percent of people in France report having a favorable view of Muslims living in their country. That's similar to the 72 percent who reported the same in 2014. The percentage with a "very favorable" opinion of Muslims increased significantly, however, from 14 percent last year to 25 percent this year, according to the Pew survey.
Very odd. I wonder how favorably they look upon Americans. The French resent the English language and American ways as an infringement on their culture, yet they open their arms to an even more different culture that is bent on destroying the French culture.
They are the Godfather of modern Liberalism why are you surprised.
They'll be sorry.

The attack at the Paris offices of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo left 12 people dead, including five cartoonists, and set off a worldwide debate about free speech and satire.

Newspapers across the globe respond to the "survivors' edition" of French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo - featuring a cartoon of the Muslim Prophet Muhammad - with a mixture of anger, concern and solidarity.
"With new cover of French paper, a new set of fears," says the New York Times on its front page, adding that there is a "dread that Charlie Hebdo may prompt further violence".
