He's right. Catering to the owner class has made the middle class poor, and without a middle class, the economy is also poor. The Fed can't really do any more to help than its already been doing. The economy has been on life support for 7 years now, all the while the vampires sip from the lifeblood.

As I've pointed out in the past, Greenspan began his life with an Austrian School philosophy. He even defended Gold as a means of protecting human property rights.

I might also argue the Friedman did even more damage to the economy with his floating exchange rate blather.
