Very clever Dan. Equating a peaceful Chinese protest demanding democracy, to rioters lusting for blood.
China can execute their criminals one week after arrest. We don't even execute them after 30 years. No wonder our prisons are full, while theirs are empty. We start doing what the Chinese do, and Ferguson would become a peaceful little town where grandmas push strollers and buy balloons for happy little kids in local parks.

Hot damn!
If only we had that much freedom in America!
If we can't get a government like China has, we can at least try to be more like Putin.

Criminals have too much freedom and rights in this country. That's the problem.
Hell yeah! I hate due process. It totally gets in the way of cops and committees killing people who need to be offed. Zap 'em!
On balance, which do you admire more as a role model for small government: Russia or China?
I know I have a hard time deciding - so much to love about both!
The World median is 150 people per 100,000
China incarcerates 120-170 per 100,000 (depending on whether you include certain labor programs)
Europe is around 100-120 per 100,000.
Russia is around 500 per 100,000
The US incarcerates about 720 people per 100,000, the highest in the world(other than the Seychelles, which went from 150 to 600+ in the past few years, probably political opponents). Almost every country except Russia that is even half as close to the US is in the Caribbean, which also practices the provably ineffective policy of stiff punishment for drug crimes. The US Crime Rate is not any lower than Europe or any other industrialized country, indeed in many areas, like murder, it's much higher. The Caribbean is also enjoys sky high crime rates.
Capital Punishment doesn't mean much, since the highest estimate for China is 2400 per year, with a population in excess of 1.2 Billion.
The US Incarceration Rate in 1960 was around 200. In 1980, also around 200. In 1995, more than 450, thanks to Reagan Democrats. After Clinton's Third Way Policies of Three Strikes, it's now over 700.

Incarceration for drug offenses needs to undergo a major change. Make some drugs legal, and it's not a crime anymore.
For hard core criminals like mass murderers, serial rapists, child molesters, and terrorists, the best solution is to hang them by law within 2 years of conviction.
Our incarceration rate would drop like a rock.

China. I love their efficiency.

A whole heard of dichotomy there, what you talkin about Willis
African Americans many be the proverbial canary in the coal mine illustrating what will happen to all Americans if they do not conform.

I think North Korea is the role model strategist is searching for.

Oh yeah, man. That's why all this police brutality is becoming news. What, 1 in 5 black men 16-35 is incarcerated at this point?
Gotta expand the program to working class whites now, gotta keep the prisons full. That kid who was executed from the rear and side of his car is one of many.
The stock of G4S, Corrections Corp of America, or whatever the hell they're called today, like all stocks, is predicated on continuing growth. McDonalds needs to sell more burgers, so does G4S prison cells.
china has nothing to steal and kills you quickly so little jailtime...
Europe has no guns so tougher to steal what little they have..
Russia has guns and is corrupt so will steal, but limited to cash and vodka...
USA has guns and all the lowlifes of the world have emigrated there, and has all the latest good shit, a combustible combination...

hahahaha. Take a look around your house. Does it say "Made in Sacramento" on it?

In both cases tanks were used to intimidate unarmed civilians.
In both cases the government called the protesters violent criminals and rioters.
In both cases domestic security was the "justification" for extreme force.
In both cases there is zero transparency and accountability for the anonymous people inside the tanks.
In both cases the spark causing the turmoil was state violence.
Yep, no similarities whatsoever because the flags flown by the state are different and that's all that matters.

Get it right - the new name for criminals is victim - unless you're a white criminal then you're a ... well a criminal. But in Dan's world when he's
accosted by a criminal, er victim - well, he'll just call for another thug??? I'm in Texas, we just shoot them, end of story.
I did not say we made all the good shit.
I said we have all the latest good shit.
the rest of the world has to deal with this...

Congratulations America, you are now what China was in 1989.
No police should ever look like this...
