I think there are several reasons.

Mostly, it helps to distract people from paying attention to the oligarchy. If we're fighting each other, we're not fighting them. They like that.

Also, it helps to destroy families, which destroys stable society, making us easier to control.

Finally, I think a lot of people who grew up secular, with no religion, latch on to it and BLM and other such movements as a kind of surrogate religion to fill the "God shaped hole" in their hearts, as someone put it. They actually think they are being good by supporting a mental illness which results in early death more often than not.

When I was in parochial school, they said before final vows, virtually all Jesuits had to have the equivalent of at least one Phd. and be facile in a couple of languages. Many aren't ordained into final vows because of this, they live in a kind of pending pre-ordination limbo until they have attained appropriate educational status, and final vow ordinations late in life are common because they spend so much time engaged in scholarly pursuits.

Is this true? Dunno, that was the screed from the bowels of parochial propaganda. If you've ever been around Jesuits, discipline is prominent and some can emanate the same gravitas and don't-fuck-with-me aura of military officials.

Yes - my great uncle was a Jesuit Priest and taught at a local Jesuit H.S. I have 2 other great uncles that were Catholic Priests as well. One was a published geneticist and the other served as a missionary in South America for many years.

Well educated people learn almost all their knowledge from authorities. As a result, they are the most gullible people in the world and assume everybody that is promoted as an authority, is an authority.
