I never understood Hitler worship.

He was just a man of his times. It was the age of dictators. If not Hitler some other charismatic anti-Semitic militaristic post traumatic stress disordered survivor of years in the western front trenches would have risen up. Empire was in the German Zeitgeist.

But then that person would have people that worshipped them too.

The communists and Nazis were fighting in the street during the depression in Germany.
