Lot of guys who get shot by cops are guilty of escalating instead of showing respect.
On a much ,ore ,I or note, I was once driving 40 in a 25 zone in New Brunswick. I didn't drink that evening, as it was past 1am and was taking a friend, who happened to be black.
I feel like if he hadn't taken an adversarial approach with cop, I could have avoided a speeding ticket and court date. He started talking before I could even say "shut the fuck up"
Unfortunately, inappropriate behavior in front of law enforcement is such a thing in the black community, that even Chris Rock did a skit on it about 10 years ago
Again I think it is a pathology. It hasn't always been like this. It all started with welfare and Davis Bacon in the 30s. IOW the government has taken away their freedom to follow their purpose.
This is damming evidence...

True Dat. Black unemployment was lower than white unemployment until the government meddling, after black unemployment skyrocketed.
One fun fact is that this was all perpetrated by the democrats.
Cut welfare to these freaks and if they can't find jobs-they cna do the jobs the illegals do.
Idle mind is the devils workshop-taxpayers feed, clothe , shelter you and you turn on the hand that feeds you.
In this country, beggars can be choosers.
Cut welfare to these freaks
Look at how France et.al. have enabled Muslims. Not that that would have stopped the problem but it sure would have slowed them down if they actually had to worry about making a living.
Yeah it will never be resolved because of the nature of politics, but it is worth considering.
Just imagine a world without police-where these goons can do whatever they want. Mass chaos and shootings-America would be like South Chjcago.

Just imagine that the government created these situations in the first place.
AND if the situation would be different if they were not being bombed into oblivion, which must create it's own kind of insanity?
Chicago gangs started because of prohibition. No prohibition = no gangs. Same could be said for today, legalize drugs = no gangs.
Would the Muslims be as vituperative if they had to make a living in their home land?
Government by definition uses force, this force creates sociological stresses, that manifests in what we see today.

Prohibition has been abolished decades ago. The whole country was under it-so to blame the problems of one area on a policy that happened decades ago is odd.
The war on drugs is dumb and needs to go-but that has nothing to do with blacks shooting each other in Chicago. Theyw ill just find another reason-anyone willing to shoot 4 yr olds in the face does not need a reason.

There gangs decades ago. The gangs today are drug related.

I don't think so. Occam's Razor, what is organic to man kind? Gregariousness is one such characteristic, because you survive much better through cooperative exchange, which is also organic to man, survival is organic to mankind (yeah there are exceptions but few).
What is not organic to man is constant fighting. Which begs the question why? I say because of these stresses created by force.
indigenous says: "What is not organic to man is constant fighting."
I've never read,in the history of man, about fights between individuals,or any large or small wars
because of the peaceful nature of mankind, with the exception of Cain & Able.
Man needs to eliminate the word "war" because he has always lived in the state of peace & bliss.

Yeah,Right! I really believe the story.
Did he get paid to tell this story?
Is he a Republican voter?
Another trolling lesson & it didn't cost you anything,
out of the goodness of my heart.

Irrelevant. Does the average American have a personal hate for Iraqis or Iranians or Afghanistan or Germany or Japan.
OR was this created by those who profit from war?
This guy and those that share the post have no understanding of statistics. He did seem to have a high level of trust and respect for the police, which no doubt helped keep him safe.

I'm curious as to how you reached this conclusion
He did seem to have a high level of trust and respect for the police, which no doubt helped keep him safe.
And in EVERY case of a black being shot by a cop, they did the exact OPPOSITE...
Bullshit.
As a non white man, I just don't see the fuss? The few times I was stopped by cops, I treated them with respect and they treated me with respect-now I hated being pulled over, but hey they just enforce laws-not make them. The politicians need to change the laws.
One positive experience with the police won't guarantee the next punk ass wont murder you face down. I understand why police are nervous around people with guns, because I am nervous around people with guns too, and cops have guns.
Before some of you get your tongs too far up a cops asshole, let's remember a few incidents where the citizen did all the right things, and still got beaten or killed:

TUCSON, Ariz. — A man's Facebook post about a recent traffic stop is going viral.
Steven Hildreth Jr. says he was pulled over by the Tucson Police Department for a broken headlight. When the officer asked if he had any weapons, he told him he is a concealed carry permit holder and had a gun on his right hip.
Because his wallet was in his back-right pocket, the officer needed to disarm him to check his ID. Hildreth wrote about his experience with the officer and posted it to his Facebook page.
Hildreth's Facebook post has been shared more than 325,000 times.
So, I'm driving to my office to turn in my weekly paperwork. A headlight is out. I see a Tucson Police Department squad vehicle turn around and follow me. I'm already preparing for the stop.
The lights go on and I pull over. The officer asks me how I'm doing, and then asks if I have any weapons.
“Yes, sir. I'm a concealed carry permit holder and my weapon is located on my right hip. My wallet is in my back-right pocket.”
The officer explains for his safety and mine, he needs to disarm me for the stop. I understand, and I unlock the vehicle. I explain that I'm running a 7TS ALS holster but from the angle, the second officer can't unholster it. Lead officer asks me to step out, and I do so slowly. Officer relieves me of my Glock and compliments the X300U I'm running on it. He also sees my military ID and I tell him I'm with the National Guard.
Lead officer points out my registration card is out of date but he knows my registration is up to date. He goes back to run my license. I know he's got me on at least two infractions. I'm thinking of how to pay them.
Officers return with my Glock in an evidence back, locked and cleared. “Because you were cool with us and didn't give us grief, I'm just going to leave it at a verbal warning. Get that headlight fixed as soon as possible.”
I smile. “Thank you, sir.”
I'm a black man wearing a hoodie and strapped. According to certain social movements, I shouldn't be alive right now because the police are allegedly out to kill minorities.
Maybe…just maybe…that notion is bunk.
Maybe if you treat police officers with respect, they will do the same to you.
Police officers are people, too. By far and large, most are good people and they're not out to get you.
I'd like to thank those two officers and TPD in general for another professional contact.
We talk so much about the bad apples who shouldn't be wearing a badge. I'd like to spread the word about an example of men who earned their badges and exemplify what that badge stands for.
