Don't pretend to compassion when your candidate supported the wars that are driving these people out of their homes and into NATO countries, on behalf of her corporate and Saudi sponsors.
Irrelevant to the issue at hand or the issue of compassion. And most politicians at that time supported the war.
If you have any sense at all, you'll shift the conversation back to where she has an advantage, e.g. SCOTUS. Don't even mention Syria, Libya, Iraq, Yemen, nor even Serbia.
Yeah, and the saber rattling Trump would have done what exactly if he'd ever been a politician?
If you had any decency, if you had any compassion, you would stop waging wars on behalf of Saudi Arabia.
I think you've rather gone off the deep end.
Rashomon (aka tatupu)

if you oppose the KKK and Nazis, how do you defend Islam?
A moronically stupid question.
and Islam has killed more people than the other two combined.
So has Christianity. Your point?
North Korea will welcome you!
No can do: Jong Un and FB are mutual admirers.
heavily vetted
So, DHS agents duck sniper fire and mortar rounds to interview their Syrian neighbors? If their Syrian neighbors haven't fled?
A questionaire with "Are you a Fundamentalist?" is not serious vetting.
Keep in mind 100,000s of "refugees", many of them not from Syria, have real, official passports on official Syrian paper stamed with Syrian Official Stamps. They just bribed the Human Smugglers, who in turn have a Passport Official make real-fake passports for them. Name is not theirs, religion not theirs, etc.
There are Eritreans and Berbers with Syrian Passports.
@curious2
How are Unions like the Kurds?
Politicians use 'em, abuse 'em, and then when no longer useful, lose 'em.
What other countries have birthright citizenship, and serve as a good hedge to the current two options that my child will have?
No other countries offer birthright citizenship other than Canada and the US. You need to be a citizen or permanent resident. How many times is this child going to be born that you are going to hedge multiple birthrights?
Yes, US citizenship is conferred by birth, if a parent is a US citizen.
Not true. Unless you are on a military base or some other recognized US property you need to apply for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad. The consulate determines if the child is a valid US citizen then issues the Consular Report of Birth Abroad. The other option is to apply directly for a US passport which will also convey citizenship. Until one or both are done the child is not a US citizen. The consulate has the power to deny the citizenship. https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/abroad/events-and-records/birth.html

No where in your article is there ANY independent verification of these stories. Asking the same questions over and over is little different than having the same questionaire filled out, over and over.
UNHCR handpicks these refugees who are in the most need of protection only after the U.N. has collected their identity documents, recorded their bio-data information, conducted iris scans, and interviewed them to determine that they are truly in need of resettlement.
An Iris scan does not tell us that you or your father is a Jihadi.
An interview is of no account and can be lied through. Kids are easily coached as the infamous Mass daycare showed.
A real vetting is like what the FBI does to give you top clearance - talking to neighbors, childhood friends, current and former co-workers.
Finally, UNHCR people are self-selected international goody-two shoes and many, if not most are not American. Many don't speak Arabic and depend on interpreters.
It would be like hiring Swedish Social Workers to determine if a violent felon from Illinois ought to be paroled, and having to rely solely upon interviews through a English-Swedish interpreter.
Finally, we are dealing with people form MENA countries, not Germany. There ain't that much in the way of records, records are generally poorly kept, and even if they are genuinely from war torn countries, much of those records would have been lost. If they have a totally fictional set of ID then they won't show up in any database.
The best bet is to keep the camps around Syria. There is no war going on in Jordan, and it's a lot cheaper to help them there, and easier for them to return.

I can use google just fine. I forgot to say developed countries. If you want citizenship for you kids in the third world craphole then by all means go for it. A Guatemala passport would be so useful. BTW the map is way out of date. Chile eliminated unlimited birthright citizenship in 1980, you can request it but it's not automatic. Columbia is not birthright any more either. I read a few years ago Antigua and Barbados are going to or have dropped it too. They missed Lesotho. Pakistan, and Tuvalu.

As happens in government bureaucracies the laws and regulations conflict. Feel free to skip the Report of Consular Birth or getting a passport and see how it works out for your kids. Be sure to show the consulate the law as written and tell them you don't need to stinking forms because your kids are citizens at birth. You will eventually get it fixed. The definition of eventually (which could be years) would depend on who is in charge at the embassy and how much they think you are interrupting their god given right to unlimited face book time, golf time, and cocktail time. Let us know how it all turns out.

if you oppose the KKK and Nazis, how do you defend Islam?
A moronically stupid question.
And yet you failed to answer. In reality, you can't answer, because you insist on importing Islam without reading it, as if you insisted on drinking poison without reading the ingredients. You might be able to recite some talking points, but you haven't read the actual doctrines, so you don't know what's in them, and thus you can't explain why you defend the worst while opposing the others. You insist moreover on feeding that poison to your family and neighbors, and you don't seem to understand why people don't trust you. You claim to be smart, but you decide based on partisan sloganeering and ignorance, while insulting everyone else and putting other people in harm's way.
Long ago, drunk driving was legal. Drunk drivers could honestly say that most of them had never killed anyone, nor even destroyed other people's property. It didn't matter. A majority of voters decided, you're not going to take that sort of risk with our lives anymore. Importing Islam is moving in that direction.
This thread began with the OP question, where to move if America stops importing Islam. The answer is obvious: if your desire to have Islam near you matters so much to you that you are willing to risk people's lives for it, then move to one of the many countries in the world that have Muslim majorities. You can find a list, for example if you sort the countries in the world based on happiness, you can find nearly all of the most miserable have Muslim majorities, because of the horrible consequences of that hateful fraud. You should have no trouble relocating to such a place, as many people there are trying to get out.

NOTHING in my post says that.
Maybe that is the problem with you trumptards, you are just too fucking stupid to read and think.
What country should I move to?
IRL, I've told smokers they should quit, and non-smokers that they shouldn't encourage smoking. Most of them agree. Even the smokers don't react with the hostility that the defenders of Islam show. In contrast, even non-Muslim servants of Allah threaten or commit violence on behalf of the charlatan Mohamed's hateful fraud, for example a Dutch animal rights activist assassinated Pim Fortuyn on behalf of Islam. Maybe Islam commands so much hatred and lethal violence that the fervor seems to spill over to even non-Muslim supporters, or maybe they are motivated more simply by the prospect of Saudi Petrodollars.
I support freedom of religion. FOR ALL
I support freedom FROM religion for all under the age of 18. Religious indoctrination of children is child abuse.
curious, you are on ignore.
Trump will likely ruin America through:
1. gutting education. His various policy statement, "make more vouchers" get rid of the department of ed, and his own history of a scam university shows he couldn't care less about it.
2. increase racial tension beyond anything we've seen since the end of slavery. His recent quotes encouraging more stop and frisk, and his blatent racism guarantee this.
3. start a real trade war with Mexico. They are our #3 trading partner, and this alone could knock 3-5% off of gdp, causing one of the worst recessions in history.
4. who knows with China... trade war, real war? all bets are off.
5. small war with Iran. His ill tempered statements that our troops should "shoot at iranians" if they make rude gestures is just one of many of his loose cannon bullshit ways of dealing with crisis, that can cause things to blow up.
6. alienate us completely from europe.... Our #1 partner in the world, and most of our allies.
Now he is definitely a bigot against muslims and will worsen our problems in the middle east, but for you curious to say, that I'm "leaving America cause trump is blocking muslims" honestly, you are just real fucking stupid. sad.

What are you blathering on about? We are talking 10000 people this year, maybe 100,000 next, mostly women and children. Such a huge number. You're going to be surrounded by them there Muslim people. Or not.

The first part of that sentence is obviously false. If you knew more about Islam, you wouldn't defend it. It's like defending smoking by claiming you know more about smoking and smokers, and have more friends who smoke.
The second part is misleading. You appear to be the sort of person who has more than a thousand "friends" on Facebook, where they say only fashionable things that will get Likes. "Kamal...was eager to mention European friends with whom he discusses religion (but not the project).â€
I am an enlightened, pacifist, vegan Buddhist
I'm a vegan also except once a week I usually have a NY strip, some pork ribs, bacon, and maybe a burger. But I identify as a vegan so that counts.

You consider citizenship to one of the only countries that will tax you on foreign income, while you're living abroad a good option!? I have a co-worker who has Canadian and Israeli citizenship, and for that reason will not become a US citizen.
BTW, if a giant douche in some positions a 1000 miles removed from your life can upset the balance, you're screwed regardless of where you go. Good.
I guess [Muslims] are the present day's demonized 'others.'
They are the present day equivalent of Nazis (read about the 100,000 European Muslims who joined the SS and fought for HItler) and KKK. When you advocate importing them, it looks like you're defending their hateful, horrible doctrine. Can we at least agree that before allowing them to immigrate, you would require them to renounce the charlatan Mohammed and his hateful fraud of Islam? If you can't agree to that, then you're necessarily defending Islam, and advocating its spread. If you cared about Muslim refugees as you claim, then you would oppose the wars so they wouldn't be displaced, or at least say that they should be sheltered in a Muslim country, e.g. Saudi Arabia, where they want to go for hajj anyway. Instead, you support the cruel NATO/Saudi plan to pump explosive gas and Muslims into Europe.

What's the relevance of saying some Muslims joined the SS? You may as well mention that the majority of them were Christians. I believe that the US should take a share of the responsibility for the utter mess they've made and the humanitarian crisis that has occurred. And last I checked with your constitution, it wasn't a requirement to renounce your faith before entering the country. But hey, just as I mentioned about the demonized 'others,' you pop right up with such a requirement. Surprise, surprise.

I'm planning to have a child in the next year or two, and if Trump wins, I think there is a very real possibility that the USA is simply not a country to count on as a place to live. Now, I'm a citizen by birth, so my child will of course have US citizenship, no matter where he/she is born. Likewise, he/she will have Taiwanese citizenship, but then again, with possible/likely Chinese takeover, while a very nice place to live today, it might not last forever.
So, I'm thinking of driving to Canada before the birth, as Canada also gives birthright citizenship.
What other countries have birthright citizenship, and serve as a good hedge to the current two options that my child will have?
