Where you see disdain I see a lament that campaigns are often less about ideas and substance and more about tabloid popularity bull shit.
The truth of the email interpretations happening is that they say way more about the person interpreting than anything else.
You may be correct, Rew. I think "cool" is a terrible metric to base ones vote, no matter which candidate you support.
Ah and the young ones thought being insulted as basement dwellers was bad enough. Now they are just mindless followers who will follow someone cool-like Katie Perry or Miley Cyrus.
The difference in the left and the right -is that if Trump was caught like this, making fun of his base-insulting and humiliating his supporters while publicly presenting a different persona-he would have been excoriated by both the left and the right.
But look at the left, trying to justify this. maybe she is right-the left are just followers with no brain of their own -their own leadership thinks so.
Reinforcing more and more my decision to vote for NEITHER of the two parties. Johnson/Weld 2016..... :-)
Lol The email is penned by someone called Wendy.
No wonder she's mad that 'cool' has equity.
Rew's interpretation is obviously correct. Anyone reading that email and concluding what the OP states has blinders on. zzyzzx is deplorable says
Bronfein goes on to state, “It’s fucking dumb but being “cool†counts for more than it maybe should.â€
In case anyone doesn't get it:
"Being cool counts for more than it maybe should" is lamenting that the messenger's coolness matters more than the message. The conclusion for anyone running the campaign is that they should focus more on getting cool people to make a statement than on discussing issues.
In case anyone is actually illiterate:
"It's fucking dumb" refers to the fact that being cool counts for more than it should is dumb. It does not mean that voters are dumb.
Side note: Grammar natzis would complain that there should be a comma before but. In reality, 'but' should be changed to 'that' to make the meaning more clear to illiterates.
I'll say it again. If these emails are the worst of the Hillary campaign, then they should work in her favor.
Some people spin so much they must faint and fall down all the time-LOL!!!!!!!!
Any way you look at it, pant suits don't qualify as bling.
Maybe if you are Fat Elvis.
They've got a significant amount of fucking dumb old people on board.

Wikileaks Email: Hillary Campaign Struggles to Reach "Fucking Dumb†Young People
"That's the crap that young people pay attention to"
A new email released by Wikileaks as part of the Podesta dump features Hillary ally Wendy Bronfein advising Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta on how to reach "fucking dumb†young people.
Marketing executive Bronfein tells Podesta that Clinton "may not be the best face†to attract younger voters and that she needs to utilize "trending figures†as par of an "infusion to pull younger voters†because "that's the crap that young people pay attention toâ€.
Bronfein goes on to state, "It's fucking dumb but being "cool†counts for more than it maybe should.â€
he references Bill Clinton's saxophone playing as an example of this before asserting, "I hate to generalize a generation but by social media nature, they "followâ€. So if someone they identify as cool endorses – they will likely fall in line with that candidate.â€
Bronfein is introduced to John Podesta in another email as someone who "could be immensely helpful in improving HRC's connection to millennials.â€
The email is yet another example of the disdain that Hillary insiders have for Clinton's own voters.
Yesterday, we highlighted how Clinton ally Brent Budowsky accused Hillary operative David Brock of having a plan that relied upon black voters being "stupidâ€.
In an audio recording leaked earlier this month, Hillary Clinton was caught on tape saying Bernie Sanders supporters are "living in their parents' basement†and had bought into a "false promiseâ€.
In another email, Clinton operative Bill Ivey spoke of the need to maintain political power by producing "an unaware and compliant citizenryâ€.
