We should replace the donkey with a 10 Nazis and the Elephant with 10 Clansmen. We could put them in an arena and let them fight it out every 4 years to choose our next President. The State Department is going to stop supporting democracy around the world. Maybe that is the direction we are headed. If they fight to the death, nobody will be able to pay any of them to take a dive.

Again, where in the second article does it say Democrats are supporting this? BWT I am a card carrying Libertarian and distrust Republicans as much as Democrats for protecting fundamental rights. They just disagree over what to censor.
Oh, one of my concerns if Hillary had gotten elected was an even more expansive and flagrant 'Dear Colleague' letter fro OCR DOE.

I think I'm somewhere between Libertarian and Liberal on the political scale, but I've seen so much Leftist Nazi crap over the past year at such a ridiculous scale you'd have to be blind, deaf, and probably dead to have missed it.

I think that the issue is whether the Democratic party in general supports the leftist behavior that you don't like. Beyond that, one has to figure out if calling that behavior Nazi crap is accurate. Take antifa or the banning of speakers on college campuses. I would call that behavior terrible and working against free speech (our most cherished amendment). But, I wouldn't liken it to Nazis. More importantly these groups don't represent mainstream Democrat's views. We saw BLM disrupting and arguing with both Bernie and Hillary during the last election. Democrats are more likely to have platforms that overlap with these groups desires, but you'd be very wrong to call Democrats Nazis based on that.

I haven't been calling him that, so don't feel the need to justify it. Trump did do some things in the election cycle that made him seem much closer to the National Socialist platform than other US leaders. Those things have been well documented and discussed on this site and elsewhere. I don't feel like rehashing them, and they don't justify calling Trump a Nazi. Trump's followers have turned the tables and started calling Trumps opponents Nazis. I don't know if Trump had a hand in that, but it's his goto strategy - accuse others of having his weaknesses.

I'm guessing that it is supposed to make fun of the antipathy that you assume others have towards white men in general, and by extension, you personally. Based on my avatar, I clearly think having a failed loser douche as a President is a bigger issue. So I take some pleasure from an image of the fat fuck tripping over the grass while golfing. I'll also prioritize a whole bunch of other issues (e.g. economy/trade, environment, taxes, health care) over whether or not Milo or Coulter can give a talk at Berkeley. So, I oppose it, but not as strongly as you do. Big woop. Personally, I can hear criticism of white men without internalizing it, and I think that some of that criticism is fair. Other bits clearly go overboard. That doesn't make Dems Hitler.
