UPDATE, RELEASED! All hell is breaking loose in Washington D.C. after a four-page memo detailing extensive FISA court abuse was made available to the entire House of Representatives Thursday. The contents of the memo are so explosive, says Journalist Sara Carter, that it could lead to the removal of senior officials in the FBI and the Department of Justice and the end of Robert Mueller's special counsel investigation.

Lawmakers who have seen the memo are calling for its immediate release, while the phrases "explosive," "shocking," "troubling," and "alarming" have all been used in all sincerity. One congressman even likened the report's details to KGB activity in Russia. “It is so alarming the American people have to see this,” Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan told Fox News.

“It's troubling. It is shocking,” North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows said. “Part of me wishes that I didn't read it because I don’t want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much.”

“I believe the consequence of its release will be major changes in people currently working at the FBI and the Department of Justice,” he said, referencing DOJ officials Rod Rosenstein and Bruce Ohr.

Meanwhile, Rep. Matt Gatetz (R-FL) said not only will the release of this memo result in DOJ firing, but "people will go to jail."

Of all the recent developments in the ongoing investigation(s), this one is on the cusp of turning into a genuine happening.

Who's going to be in the cross hairs?

Schiff actually claimed on TV the Public "Wouldn't Understand the Memo."

But this is all "tick-tock" suspense building stuff. The real texts and emails are going to be unbelievable. Think about what we already know about:

Nellie Ohr's
* 20 years of Missing Employment History ("Ace Tomato Company")
* wife of Bruce Ohr, a DOJ Attorney, now demoted for failing to reveal his own meetings with FusionGPS
* Nellie Ohr was hired by FusionGPS to do oppo research on Trump

McCabe and his Wife and McAuliffe

Strzok, the FBI Deputy Counter-Intel Official who:
* Interviewed Abedin, Mills, AND Hillary re: Email Server
* Kept NO transcript or record of those interviews
* While having affair with another married FBI Official Lisa Page (major blackmail fodder, MASSIVE security risk for the FBI's Dpty. Counter-Intel )
* Edited Comey's Hillary Investigation Conclusion from "Gross Negligence" (a legal term that at the very least identified an admin violation) to "Extremely Careless")
* Five months of Missing Texts that begin after the election but mysteriously and belatedly end on the day Mueller's investigation starts. What a coinky dinky!
Hillary's prime assistant has classified emails on her home computer that were also on her convicted sex offender husband's computer (again, Blackmail Fodder and incompetence at best, if not forwarding to her Muslim Brotherhood affiliated Parents who literally work in MB propaganda outfits)

Fusion GPS..
* had access to the FISA 720 Database while conducting oppo research for Hillary
* Wife of FusionGPS President bragged about info on Trump
* FBI also paid Steele (who may have been part fabricator and part 'sheepdipping' the 720 information)

What we probably have with Strzok is that the FBI hates having yet more scandals of highly unreliable actors, so they may be trying to minimize and cover for him. Remember Hannsen operated for the GRU and KGB/FSB on and off for more than 2 decades, was a swinger who lived way above his pay grade, but passed every regular security review with flying colors? How about Earl Pitts?

Anyway, there's so much other shit from the wife of FusionGPS bragging about insiders working against Trump in 2016, to Priestap, to Brennan, to bad case of the Clapper.

This is going to be bigger than Watergate, and there's probably at least one major informant.

Let me get this straight. Repubs tryin to tell the truth and release FISA abuses-dems try to hide truth and the dem base response is-oh well, what can be expected from a base that worships trigglypuff as their patron saint.

That would be true "draining of the swamp", but could the country survive it without the SJWs burning the country down?

They can try.

I have many reasons why they wouldn't do it in my area, 5.56, 7.62x39, 9mm, .45 ACP, those type of reasons.
86   anonymous   2018 Jan 24, 8:33am

First off, having the power to spy on us so easily is were, we, as Americans failed.

That being said, if Trump has nothing to hide then why should he care if he was spied on? Unless of course, he's got something to hide. #trumpsfucked

I'm thinking Hillary Clinton would be a big enough target to send a clear message that this is a country of laws.

As much as that would be a great thing to see, I'm doubting anything will come of this.

Agree with your judgment as it's best to walk away from expecting any sort of KABOOM moment to come from this. I've spent the last 2 days clicking links to ZH, fox, gatewaypundit, journalist Sara Carter, etc - and all I can say for sure is ive been exposed to dozens of ads for insurance, loan refinance, laundry detergent, black & decker products...and lost maybe 2 hours of my life learning nothing of any real substance.

I sometimes wonder if people in congress get a cut of all the clickbait we all gobble down in pursuit of this stuff...

And Republicans could calculate that their political hand is stronger if they can discuss the cards they're holding without revealing them.

Devin Nunes’ Anti-FBI Memo Names James Comey, Rod Rosenstein, and Andrew McCabe.

A controversial Republican memo alleging surveillance abuse specifically names FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein along with former FBI Director James Comey.

Capitol Hill sources on both sides of the aisle say the memo’s release is only a matter of time. And when it comes out, these current and former officials — all GOP bêtes noires — are likely to face even more criticism from the right over their involvement in FBI counterintelligence work.

The GOP-authored memo made waves last week after it was made available to the full House of Representatives for viewing. With over 60 GOP lawmakers calling for its release, Capitol Hill sources on both sides of the aisle tell The Daily Beast that it's only a matter of time before the general public is allowed to view the document - which is likely to stoke already-inflamed tensions between GOP lawmakers and the individuals named in the leak.

So to recap: not only were high level intelligence officials allegedly involved in clandestine meetings in which they conspired to "impair" Donald Trump, this leak in conjunction of the four-page GOP memo appear to confirm what many have suspected all along; a highly illegal operation was conducted against President Trump which goes all the way to the top of the U.S. government.

If Trump needed an excuse to drain the swamp without the appearance of partisan politics, it's just been handed to him on a silver platter. Or he may want to wait until the general public has seen the memo - which is being fast-tracked by the House.

Top FBI Officials - including the goddamn Deputy of Counter-Intel FFS (not to mention his adultery was major blackmail fodder and a massive Security Risk) - attempted to interfere in the Election AND worked against the President, who is also their boss.

He even went so far as to re-write the Comey Memo on Hillary from "grossly negligent" to "carelessness".

This a major problem.

I can't believe I'm hearing Democrats try to dismiss actual texts that demonstrate widespread Political Interference inside the FBI. Democrats have now entirely abandoned any principle whatsoever in their rage from having lost the election.

That Melania didn't go to Davos is a nothing burger in comparison. Why must the first lady go to Davos, anyway?

I think we are about to find out.

Missing FBI Text Message Have Been Located.

The missing text messages from a critical five-month period between Trump-bashing FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, who both served on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team, have been located by the Department of Justice.

In a letter sent to congressional committees, Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz said his office “succeeded in using forensic tools to recover text messages from FBI devices, including text messages between Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page that were sent or received between December 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017.”

Horowitz sent his letter confirming the discovery of texts to Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who had inquired about the messages.

“Our effort to recover any additional text messages is ongoing,” Horowitz added quoted by Fox News. “We will provide copies of the text messages that we recover from these devices to the Department so that the Department’s leadership can take any management action it deems appropriate.”

I'm going to laugh my ass off when this memo finally gets released and it is another big nothingburger bag of lies. Just like Nunes supposed blockbuster evidence of the Obama Administration bugging of Trump. That sure died off in a hurry.

All the Trumpcucks have worked themselves into a frenzy, but I can almost guarantee none of them will learn their lesson. They'll be just as excited with Pepe memes, Hillary memes, etc. the next time that Trump and FOX news come up with a new made up deep state story.

Don't you guys find it funny that they haven't released it yet? Why do you think that is? Perhaps the anticipation is much greater than the reality?

Anti-Trump FBI Official Identified As Leaker To WSJ, WaPo Reporter.

Newly released text messages between controversial anti-Trump FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page reveal several leaks of confidential information to Wall St. Journal reporter, Devlin Barrett, who is now with the Washington Post.

Following the release of the timestamped texts by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, Conservative Treehouse compared the timing of the messages between the agents and tied them to several instances of Barrett breaking news or confirming rumors based on "sources" within the government.

Via the Conservative Treehouse:

On October 28th, 2016 (as above), at the exact time the re-opening of the Clinton investigation hit the media news-cycle, Page and Strzok were texting. From the released messaging we see at 5:19pm Lisa Page is on the phone with “Devlin”:

Page: 5:19pm “Still on the phone with Devlin. Mike’s phone is ON FIRE.”

Strzok: 5:29pm “You might wanna tell Devlin he should turn on CNN, there’s news on.”

Page: 5:30pm “He knows. He just got handed a note.”

Strzok: 5:33pm “Ha. He asking about it now?”

Page: 5:34pm “Yeah. It was pretty funny. Coming now.”

At 5:36pm Devlin Barrett tweets:

Sources, as in Lisa Page - who Barrett was just (or still) on the phone with.

It apparently was okay to be the first leaker, so why not? Good for the Goose... Turnabout is fair play.

Grassley openly released a new batch of texts, apparently Page and the Deputy FBI Counter-Intel Director have nothing better to do all day than talk to WaPo Reporter Barrett.
111   anonymous   2018 Jan 26, 12:47pm

The FBI leak is way more serious. Nunes is a Republican, if he leaks to help is party, it may be unethical, it may be illegal, but he's ultimately doing his job as a Republican politician. There is no conflict of interest in him doing that.

The agents investigating Hillary leaking to the press in order to help the subject of their investigation is not only unethical and possibly illegal, but it also fundamentally conflicts with what their job as an FBI agent investigating someone should be. The entire Hillary investigation now is called into question. In addition, you have to ask who was responsible for appointing these agents? Was it Comey? If so was he aware of their political bias? Was he pressured from higher up (Obama admin?) to appoint them? Trump shouldn't have fired Comey because if this had come to light beforehand, Comey would have resigned... Of course it might never have come up if Comey was still there...

Anyone defending this shit is purely partisan.
